Previously I posted about my disappointment over the fact that Orkut doesn't support mobile phones, although their are some indications that support may be added for the future (think SMS scrapbook).
It seems that an anonymous user (from Brazil I assume) tipped me over to this link which may make logging into Orkut via mobile a bit more friendly.
For those who speak English, I have created a tiny url which you can point your mobile phones towards: http://tinyurl.com/ykko69
Although I am still having problems logging on, this has probably more to do with the type of cell phone that I have, as Verizon Wireless is a little bit restrictive. I'll attempt to find a work-a-round for this, unless of course Google makes Orkut mobile friendly.

hi,
wait for dew more days. i'll write in my blog how to orkut through mobile in details.
regards,
I wanted to know the possibilty of an addon. I don’t know anything about writing scripts for greasemonkey, but i think this can be implemented. correct me if i am wrong…
A very frustrating problem for community owners is the fact that someone starts anonymously crashing nice tea parties… You don’t want to stop anonymous posting, but you want to find this person’s identity at any cost!
one way is to delete all posts by a particular user and hence check if the post which he had anonymously posted has disappeared or not…
now this is very time-consuming procedure (leave alone the fact that people who are innocent might also have their posts removed…
I was wondering if it is possible(atleast theoritically) to automate this. ie: we give the inputs : some identifier for the anonymous post, plus a list of suspicious user’s identifiers. the addon wil do the job of deleting all posts and checking if the malicious post has been removed.
i would appreciate it if someone who knows scripting addons could give a comment on the feasibilty or say he/she can implement this. one thing i can assure you is- its popularity.
all i get is that stupid loading screen and im using the t-mobile dash.
I have also tried and i cant't even log in , but i found a better site which works to access orkut mobile it calls t9space and i have added it to my bookmark.
