Quick question... A good Medifast diet plan to lose 6 - 11lbs? Many thanks for any answer or 2. 2nd question I got is.. Wow, bet you thought you were in for a roller coaster...Fooled you! I have been working on my fitness program. Took a class in the spring for lifetime health and fitness and decided I needed to begin exercising...for many reasons. One of the biggest is to get the last 20 pounds off my body.

So, the scale has finally started to move down. About 2 pounds this week. I have been.

Walking.

4 miles a day every other day. Well, it turns out that it is very hard to reach my cardio goal so I started to step it up. I am.

Running.

! This has always been one of my wishes. I always envied those beautiful atheletic people who seem to effortlessly glide down the road while I was huffing and puffing along at a slow shuffle. I did find an excellent beginning.

Running.

Regime and before long, my body will make the necessary adjustments and I can.

Leave.

The pain behind (remember, I am 44 so my body is resistant to this) and really enjoy the time that I spend letting all of my stress and anxiety hit the road! If anybody has also started a.

Running.

Program, please let me know how you got started. Right now I am doing a jogging.

Walking.

Regime that steadily increases the intervals until you are.

Running.

So for now it is about 90 second.

Running.

And 2 minutes brisk.

Walking.

For about an hour. This is supposed to continue for 2 weeks and then you start measuring the interval distance with the aim being 30 minutes uninterupted.

Running.

We will see how long it takes my hips and feet to adjust...

I go back and forth with.

Running.

, "running" I call it jogging, the fastest I can go is 5.1mph on the treadmill and seem to do better on the tread mill. the longest distance I have run is 1.75 miles (once), I can do almost a mile but my left hip starts to object. I too wish I could do it easily and often, I will do intervals as well while.

Walking.

The dog (he loves it). I started some time ago, my hip started to complain I went to the doctor and she told me to knock it off so I did, since then I go to 2 step.

Aerobics.

Classes and 2 strength building classes which include some cardio routines (in the strength class) I re-tried.

Running.

And was amazed to do the 1.75 miles the day I did it. so if you want to bump up your stamina try some of those classes I think they will help you too. good luck and remember (i am going to be 47) that our "old" joints were abused with all of our excess weight so they have a right to complain (LOL)...
