I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an anything. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could assist you..

That you make it home soon. Take care!.
Ps. Hey watch the apple juice! They gave it to me in the hospital too and I dumped badly on it. Too much sugar, like over 20g per serving. It made me turn bright red, hot, horrible dry heaves and a really bad headache. I was so nauseaus that first week and no one could figure out why. It was the apple juice...
Congrats!.
Hope.
You are feeling better every day! I could not have anything to drink til the second day. And even then it was only water and Boost (yuck). No broth, no juice..but then again I probably would not have wanted either of them cause just the smell of Medifast food make me nauseated. No binder either, just a lil pillow to hold when I had to cough or move around. Sounds like you are doing pretty good. Hang in there and look forward to you coming home.
How long do you have to be in for?..
Hi Peggy, Im glad to hear all went well for you. Im so glad! Now your off to a New You.... YAY!!! Congrats!! Take extra good care of yourself, this first week will be a lil rough being that this is a all new lifestyle but just keep moving and get plenty of fluids :-).

Modern technology, ain't it grand?! 2 days out and I'm doing really well. My only one big problem I had was "contractions" starting Monday afternoon and.
Running.
Till yesterday. Wowwie! It's been almost 30 years since I've had contractions like that.. whew and I'd be very content to never have them again!.
I'll explain more in detail after I'm home. One of the nurses I had said she went through the same thing when she had her WLS and she'd not wish it on her worse enemy. I just had my first meal that wasn't just ice chips, num, num! Honestly though, I'm not hungry. I was okay with ice chips... the 'crunching' helps with 'oral' fixation of our eating. I ate a a few little pieces of jello, saved my apple juice to drink on through the day and also saved my diluted chicken broth.
Walking.
Up and down the halls all hours of the day and night..
One more thing to jot down and ask about (for those who have not been through the.
Surgery.
Yet... Abdominal Binder (reminds me of a girdle of sorts) It helps keep your tummy pulled tight which will help aid when we are moving, or trying to cough. I'm still not real good at that, even with my spiro-meter or whatever it's called.. the thingey which you breath into trying to 'raise' to the highest number you can. My surgeon has me doing it 10 times every hour..
Well. it's time to wonder the halls some more. I wanted to stop in and say "hi" and let you know, things are good..
Hugs,.
Peggy..
Yay Peggy!!! Sounds like you're doing great!!! Yes, make sure they water down that apple juice!!! :) Welcome to the losers bench!!! :).
Erica..

Hi Peggy:.
You sound great, considering what you 've been through. Sorry for the complications of the "contractions".
...interesting..
Hope.
All of that is history soon, and you continue to heal quickly and well. I'm proud of you being up and.
Walking.
A lot...so good for you and helps with all that gas as you know. Also, and they don't talk about it much, but you don't want to develop pneumonia, and sometimes those stuck in bed have THAT worry..
They offered me regular popsicles, and juice in the hospital and I thought that was odd, considering. My apple juice WAS diluted, but I opted not to drink it. Not a fan really anyhow..
I also had a binder and the spirometer. I liked the binder too, but didn't love the spirometer. Took me weeks to be able to do it as I normally would. So you are not alone there. Keep at it , as you are able..
Cindy..
Man are you a trooper. I am glad things went well. Welcome to the losers club for life..

Walking.
Which is good. Congratulations and welcome to the loser's bench...
Though we've never met, I wanted to congratulate you on your decision and progress that you're making! I had a binder and HATED the thing. I wish it would have helped me more. I ended up calling my surgeon soon after I got home asking if I could get rid of it cuz it hurt more then it help. LOL. I'm sure many use them with great success though! It didn't help that I had an open incision and a whole lotta stomach girth to deal with at the time. I tried putting my binder on the other day actually (LOL) when I found it in my closet and had to laugh at how "nice" it fits now.
Anyhow, it's a great journey. Not always easy, but great none the less! Congrats on getting to the other side and I look forward to hearing more of your journey! Keep up the great work!..
You still sound like the same upbeat peggy! Things are going good it sounds. I'm so glad..hurry back...

Good attitude.
Keep up the good work!..
(((((Peggy))))) So glad to see you so soon. I have though of you often my dear. When I couldnt have water yet and they gave me ice chips with the mouth swab in it, I would swab and then chew all the ice and spit it out. It was a blessing. Yeah the breathing thinga-mah-jiggy was hard at first too, but I know you will kick it's bootie..
So glad to see you take care o' you..
Xoxox.
Debbie..
