Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could help you..
Could you send it to Rawkinlocs and she will do it? It would be nice to see?..
Thanks for that tip mbf. Someone is hiring me to make them a couple of meals a week, so I'm making all kinds of stuff. I just made the buckwheat walnut quiche shells (that go with the portabella spinach quiche), but I did them mini size. I'm going to store these mini tartlet things in my freezer until I need them..
Even though there are no pictures in the book, everything looks pretty good in there..
Only thing is, I'm in the middle of a long fast so I can't really taste anything...I'm sorta working with my nose, and using DH as my guinea pig!.
Would love to see a photo if you can post...
I will send it to Rawkinlocs and ask if she could post it here for me..
Mara..
I think I got it ?! Here are my Almond Thumbprint cookies !..
Wow those look great, almost the same as the ones we made, which are now dehydrating..
One thing I did was throw a pear in with the raspberries and used agave instead of vanilla to sweeten it up. Then we used a little mini wooden dumbell to made the deep impression, and put lots of filling in as you suggested. Also didn't have enough almonds so I used cashews and pecans for the balance. Everything else I followed..
I will take a photo of mine when they are done too...
Oooh, the pear is a great idea !.
Mara..
These look wonderful! I am going to get the ingredients to make them too, yum!..
I have this book. i'll have to try this recipe. I wish the book had pictures and i'm glad to have this one...
I don't have this book and would love to make these tomorrow....can anyone share the recipe.
With me- They look fabulous!.
I may try to make another similar cookie- using LOLF Key lime pie recipe- but make it more of a thumbprint cookie/tartlett- YUMMY!..
Out of respect for the author, you may want to try e-mailing Renee to see if she will share it as it is copyrighted..
The book is called Living Cuisine...
I just bought this book, along with Alissa's, but they are still in the mail ... waiting is even harder when I read about all these delicious recipes and see yummy photos!.
*sigh*.
FaithfullyFit ... maybe someone who has Living Cuisine could email you the recipe. I don't think that would violate the copyright...
That's a great book!! I recommend it to everyone..
On the same topic, has anyone made the Pfefferneuse?..
