I want to add as much details to the product, such as a video, pictures etc...I just downloaded online merchant V2.3. Of course! but... you might wanna make sure and wait for another person here to confirm this as I am not very confident. Better yet, why don't you email the iContact guys because they can answer you better...

There are a number (hmmm... perhaps I should say thousands) of hosting sites some good some not so good and some we should all steer clear of - try doing a Google search for hosting iContact site reviews and choose one from reading the reviews, what you do have to remember though is what is top or near the top at the moment may be near the bottom or in the steer clear category next year..

All hosting sites should allow you to have a SSL certificate which will go a long way towards getting a payment gateway and merchant bank to enable you to process credit cards or you could link up with PayPal..

I must have missed that forum rule. I posted something like this a long while back and got some decent ideas. One such idea I received was GoDaddy with Linux. Tested it and it seems to support osCommerce quite well. After I manually upgraded to v2.3 a few days ago, I found that my current host wasn't able to fully support the changes. So I'm bailing on that host and will go with something that works with v2.3.

Another hosting iContact site that might work, but that I haven't tested:.

From.

Here.

I've always figured it's considered advertising..

"Hosting" could be considered an "osCommerce service"..

Maybe I'm full of beans (wouldn't be the first or last time that would be true), but thought I'd seen posts like this "moderated" shall we say.....

Hi why dont you use standard hosting and then use paypal , one of the most secure forms of payment, and people are used to useing it , for hosting see shreesoft.co.uk , cheap 36 for 12 months , just buy your name or ask them to and they will send you details of login name and password within 48 hours normally.

Hosting is a problem at the best of times, finding one that will be as reliable as you need it to be and one that will be there next week too!.

With reseller accounts there are many people who set themselves up as hosts without the knowledge of what they sell, there are thankfully a lot of forums on this subject you can get some good info from..

I think it's worth paying a bit extra for a good service from a known provider..

As mentioned above it's against forum rules to suggest one on here but there are some that advertise here you could look at?.

Before I got my own server I only ever found two that I can say I would recommend, that in a lot of years of searching !!..
