You say that you uploaded your 'catalog' folder - but did you set up a blank database via phpMyAdmin?.

Yeah I did.

Then I uploaded the oscommerce mysql to it..

You only needed to create a blank database, the OSC install will populate it for you..

Did you create the database or did your hosting company?.

Try going to PHPmy Admin on your hosts control panel that should show you the database name, in mine it's formated as xxxx_xxxx then click on that and it should open another screen asking for your username, again in mine is xxxx_xxxx and password xxxx..

Something like this:.

Database name = username_dbname.

Username = username_username.

Password = password.
