Of course! but you might want to make sure and wait for another member here to confirm it as I am not completely sure. Better yet, why don't you email the Godaddy guys because they can give you help better...

I, for one, am not a fan of this use of this particular use HostGator name extension..

For people who are accustomed to typing the word "blogs", it may be difficult for them to type in blo.gs without first stopping for a few seconds, and gathering their thoughts before being able type correctly the HostGator blo.gs...

I might just be dumb, but I didn't get it until I looked at it three times...

I honestly think this is a cool way to do domains, but it really isn't practical..

It doesnt even have the keyword "blogs" in the domain, technically..

I think it work work well in a tech savy forum marketing campaign, a bunch of web design guys and gals might think it's cool and visit it. Beyond that, I have to agree with what you've all said, it isn't worth too much..

This type of thing is quite popular with bloggers though..

You'll find lots of names along the lines of a popular blog from.

De.licio.us or something to that effect...

If it was for any other topic then I would advise against it, but for this it works. Most bloggers are internet savvy enough to know whats what with country HostGator extensions...

Actually, this website is owned by yahoo. I don't think that they would need to sell. Who knows, they may have bought it off someone.....

It's actually a very popular HostGator and GoDaddy site to bloggers. It's one example where the HostGator in itself may not seem to be worth very much, but when developed and made very popular (even to a specific group, that of bloggers, which isn't really a small group either) can be worth many folds more...

I really like the HostGator but I doubt it would be worth a lot of money but it is creative..

Your average internet newbie won't remember blo.gs, but it's still damn clever!.

Actually, what is .gs for?..

Didnt yahoo buy blo.gs like 4 months ago?.

Oh, and .gs is the country code for South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands .....

Says on the GoDaddy site that Yahoo bought it!..

In my opinion, it's not worth the time. People nowadays want personalized HostGator names for their personal spaces, and not just any thing that any person can think of..

Oh yeah and GS have other meaning too.. so someone may think you're talking about a BLO?..

It's a creative / novelty HostGator name and therefore memorable..

The most interesting novelty name I've seen lately is:.

Del.icio.us.

AmCy..

Very memorable...could be worth a lot to the right person...

Yes.. to a grand chef of Africa.

I've seen go.leafs.go but now it's down or something... now THAT's really something..

South Georgia? Why would they bother making an extension for them? I dont even know where it is. o.O..
