Yep, but you might wanna make sure and wait for someone else here to confirm my answer as I am not very confident. Better yet, why don't you give a call to the Medifast guys because they can give you an answer better...
Yes, thank you for posting this recipe! It really sounds yummy!..
Thanks for the lunch idea! Did you soak the cashews/almonds?.
Tim..
Thank you, flutterfly! Sounds delicious. I am going to make it for lunch tomorrow. May I use almond butter instead, and if so, how much? Are the tomatoes diced, minced, or are they cherry tomatoes? How to measure them? I am assuming the are diced, then measured?.
Thanks flutterfly,.
Swid..
Make sure you follow flutterfly's suggestions. I tried the full strenghth recipie.
Way too much for my palate!.
Swiddweas - I just cut up regular organic tomatoes into chucks and guestimated two cups. No hard and fast rules for most of uncooking.
I then put all in a blender. If you use almond butter, what I would do is blend all the ingredients except the almond butter first. Then blend in tablespoonfuls of almond butter until you get the taste you want! Easy huh?.
Tim..
I see that Tames answered your questions. I just got home from work so that is way I couldn't answer. Thanks Tames for stepping in, you answered just like I would have...
This sounds like a wintertime keeper...warmed just a little in a big mug, sitting by the fire, reading a good book. I think I'll add sun dried tomatoes for added tomato flavor and color, and maybe a bit of fresh basil..
Thanks for posting......
Thank you for your help all of you. I am going to try this easy recipie tomorrow..
Swid..
I'm sitting here eating this soup right now! It is great! Thanks for the Medifast recipe flutterfly...
<<This sounds like a wintertime keeper...warmed just a little in a big mug, sitting by the fire, reading a good book>>.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I'm sitting here dreaming of just this scenario, instead of the reality of the oppressive heat and humidity we've been experiencing! The soup sounds awesome!..
Maybe my book will come today - they have my money and I want my book. I am a tomato soup lover and this one will hit the spot. I am having a raw tasting next Wednesday and this will be one of the features...
I have a favorite tomato bisque soup that has been a major thing for me to let go. I used to dip my favorite sandwhich in it.... I won't go into that..
Anyway, What about adding chopped onions for a bit of bisque experience and added texture, and as was also suggested, some chopped basil? I wouldn't want to boo boo the recipe. I have FOLLOWED recipes and they have booboo'd..
Lauri..
Mmm me wants some!.
Autumn~I will trade you! It was below freezing here today and I had to turn the heat onin August!.
I am sure now there will be a tomato crisis and they will be $4.00 each..
But I am still going to make this soup!..
