First question I have is Do opt-in iContact email marketing work? Which company is the best? Thanks for any answer. Another question... I'm having trouble with tables..

I want to get a table to the right of the box of links with "Choose An Anime", but it keeps going under it. Can someone help?.

Also, is there a way to keep every page on a iContact site keep the same links and the same layout without having to edit every single page on the site, without using frames or iframes?.

I hope those questions make sense...

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I bump into an decent answer. You should email the people at iContact as they probably could answer your iContact question..

Wow, thanks a lot. Now... I've never saved anything as a template, so if you could tell me how to do that, I would be soooo happy...

Ok, here we go:.

1 create a page with logo and menu (your pages).

2 put a lot of text in the content part.

3 look if it is still OK.

4 test your creation in Internet Explorer AND Netscape or FireFox.

5 if this is ok, delete the content text.

This was the setup and contolpart..

Now the pages with content.

6 now save as setup.html.

7 Put the content you want in your page in the content part.

8 save as home.html or index.html or the pagename.html.

10 open setup.html and in the contentpart the text and images for the next page.

11 save as correctname.html.

The filenames you have already setup in your menu, so that are the names of your pages..

Attention: never CAPS or sp aces in falenames..

Your pages:.

Type all your text (content of the site) in a text-editor like notetab.

Modify the text..

In Notetab you can cut copy and paste the text..

Divide the text in parts: your pages..

Now it is simple to copy the text for the home.html and past it in the template (setup.html) and save as home.html.

Your index.html.

This is the first page..

But you can also use home.html as first page, depending on the iContact site you want to create..

Still you need the index.html, but this can be a nice page with an image and "Welcome" with a link to your home.html..

If you use the index.html this way it is simple to create a new site..

Just two links on the index.html linking to:.

My musicsite and my cars.

These 2 sites have there own directory..

So it is simple to update the files, you know where is what.

And it is simple to create a third site: my pics, jus a new directory and one link on the index.html...

That didn't really make much sense to me..

Let's see if I can make this question better....

Is there a way to be able to update one page, to update the main layout of the site, to add something like links/a new table, without using iFrames? So I don't have to go through and edit every single page on the site...

That with plain HTML. You're looking at server-side includes for that one. If you have access to a server-side language, such as PHP or ASP, those can do it. You can do it with JavaScript, too, but that's kind of messy and won't work for anyone with JavaScript disabled..

Thanks. I got the ssi working pretty good. I have made a decent design for the iContact site now (at least I think so)..

It's not complete yet, and I have yet to make a new banner to fit the design. (Don't mind the huge white image if it is still up when you visit.) But the basic design is done. (Not really asking for suggestions. I've gotten enough from some people already while making the design...)..
