I have no appetite whats so ever which I really dont mind the problem is when I do there are very few things that agree with me. Its kinda making me crazy cause it's the same things over and over.I tried fish threw it up I am very sensitive to things that are sweet.

And I dont know what else to eat. I feel like this will never end...

The answer is Yes, although you might wanna make sure and wait for someone else here to confirm it as I am not confident. Better yet, why don't you contact the Medifast guys because they can give you an answer better...

OK, I am experiencing the same ....but people are diifferent! Myself, I am 4 wks out and blah! I try a little carnation instant breakfast..just a sip! The smell of sweets make me ewww. Um I did ok with tuna and miracle whip light and some relish, but I could only eat maybe 2ounces. My problem is eating to fast try taking one bite and waiting a few mins. then another, there is also sweet sues chicken in a can..that went well! also 1 scrambled egg cooked with I cant believe it's not butter (spray) I do add salt and a lil pepper! How far out r u? just dont give up...I am having a hard time to!..

I am 11 weeks post op today! For lunch I am having a variation of Shelly's.

Theworldaccordingtoeggface.com.

Recipe in the crockpot. Chicken wings and shrimp..

At first, I was having the same problems. Most ppl on this site have said over and over again...your taste buds will change, if you try a Medifast food and it don't go down well, wait and try again later. Fish and shrimp got stuck in my throat, but now...it wonderful..

You know what is great? I can eat slowly some things I enjoyed before.

Surgery.

, get the taste, be full and not have consumed 2000 calories. I still.

Lose weight.

...its a win, win situation. Isn't that what I prayed for...God, take away this ravenous appetite, this all consuming fixation with food? My being held hostage to an overpowering hungry that found me at midnight staring in the fridge for something, anything to eat...knowing full well that I should not eat and go to bed, but knowing if I did not quiet that hungry-demon, I would not.

Sleep.

!.

So, Joma...you will get the nutrients you need, because you will take care of that. You will take your vitamins,.

Calcium.

, b12 and PROTEIN! You will find what you like and can eat and it will be enough for you to live a happy and healthy life. This is my.

Prayer.

For you and me...

I know every MD is different but I was on liquidfied foods for the first 4 weeks then I got soft. Tomorrow I start 8 weeks and get to add some different foods. I still only eat about 2 oz at a meal. My MD carries around a 5 oz dixie cup. This is the most he ever wants us to eat at a meal..

I had lots of problems the first 6 weeks. Went back to clear liquids several times. I also found that soups (clear) were much better..

Good Luck...

I'm 17 weeks out..

Oh that nasty baby food! No wonder they make such faces! But, it went down well and stayed down. I had to add salt and pepper..

Protein is hard. I'm sick of all the mixes. I'm eating some great stuff that I ordered from Bariatric Choice on-line..

Most things sweet just taste nasty now and I don't bother with the chocolate and strawberry stuff..

Give yourself timeyou'll figure out what works for you!..

I thought they'd done brain.

Surgery.

On me, I was so turned off of food, the first month. No effort needed to eat...I was happy to just drink. I was thirsty, as I felt like I couldn't get it in fast enough at first. That improves over time, but I do sip most the day on water or some ice tea....plain..

We are each so different in what our bodies will tolerate. I was NOT a fish eater, other than tuna and the infrequent salmon.. prior to.

Surgery.

I have gravitated to more fish the past year as it's always been the one Medifast food that goes down easily and doesn't cause any problems. I eat grilled or broiled mostly , and love lemon on any of it. So I'm lucky with that I guess..

I decided early on not to eat any sweets other than via fruit, in small amounts. Sweets were my enemy and I just don't want to get back into cravings that are stronger than I am. Recently (I'm 17 months post op). I've begun to use some of Eggface's recipes for blueberry "cake" (while they were in season), and some other things that do have some carbs in the pancake mix etc. It's whole wheat mix, and divided by the 4 servings, it's not much. But while trying to lose a few more lbs., I've had to cut that way down.

Shelly's recipes (Eggface) are wonderful though, so I agree with alysharea to check her site out if you haven't already..

Cindy..
