My biggest downfall now, altough I guess most would not think it's big, is hot veggie broth thickened with arrowroot. Humm....should be simple right? Its a step down from the good ol thick chicken soup that I used to love in winter time..
But I also love mixed grain rice-haven't had luck sprouting it, and thick sauces of many kinds. The best sub has been the cashew avocado gravy! YUM!!..

What you can do is take black grapes and blend them up on slow with your blender and then add some agar which has been warmed on the stove to around 115 degrees and then mix them together and let set for about 20 min. this will form a jell and you can put in the fridge but it will taste better warm. Forgot,.
You may want to put in a little catus sweetener to taste..
I hope this helps, I know what it's like to desire the taste but you want it raw..

I find the Tocotrenials (raw vita e powder made from a rice bran available at Nature First Law) mixed with cinnamon, dash of cloves and or nutmeg...on an apple slice cures my craving for something crunchy and cinnamony...
Hey you all I have had the answer or an answer for the mac and cheese. I call it craven mac and cheese it has a lot of ingredients because it was angel inspired. To me it doesn’t taste like the open box stuff but after I ate it I was stratified. If you want the Medifast recipe email me, and I will give it to you. (I don’t have my Medifast recipe with me right now)..
I can't remember what book I read it in, but is a "jelly" recipe..haven't tried it yet but it looks very simple: soak 1/4 cup seedless rosehips in 3/4 cup juice of choice. Apparently it will turn to jelly like substance. Good luck and definitely let us all know if you try it...
When I first went raw, I knew there were going to be a lot of changes. For me it was easy because I went straight from a low-carbish Medifast diet into raw, so for me just being able to eat all the fruit and greens I wanted without having a hunk of me*t beside it was enough for me - it was like a honeymoon - still is. I launched straight into almost mono-eating (no recipes at all, just eating the Medifast food as is) because I was so thrilled..
I missed certain tastes really badly at first, but after a while, my biochemistry took hold and changed my taste buds entirely. I don't miss any of these things, now..

One thing I found during a detox period, is that I intensely craved all the foods of old for a good 3 to 4 days. That's my body getting rid of the old toxins, and the addiction response not being to thrilled with being given the boot..
Just wanted to tell you that I'm going to experiment with making graham crackers this week. I used to make homemade graham crackers in the oven several years ago and they were pretty good I'm going to see how I can revamp that Medifast recipe to make it raw and dehydrated. I'll let you know how it goes!..
