Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at Godaddy as they probably could give you an answer..
The .ie count stats are updated daily. The .ie website data is updated monthly..
(It is one of my sites.)..
It seems to have a problem (403 error). Anyway, thank you for the reference, jmcc. I have just updated the list...
DNSLinks.com has published the list of ccTLD's statistics..
I am missing the Slovak republic extension..
Which is 122.326 DM (30.05.2006) and it brings the SK on the 31st place.
122.326? Are you sure? My default editor says domeny1.txt has 94.282 lines (therefore 94.271 registered domains.).
Thank you for the information anyway. I'm going to update the list..
What do you think about adding gTLD's such as .com or .net?..
I'm a bit surprised there aren't more .us HostGator regged than that...
I'm not so. Look at this:.
I think americans prefer .com, and see it as their country-code HostGator -isn't it a international TLD?..
Nice list! I'd like to find out recent statistics for .CC and .WS...
Thanks -RJ-. I haven't seen any statistical information about that TLD's. As soon as I find it, it will be publish..
Yeah, but I think the most are speculators..
Hello again, update please, and do not leave these great thread! PLEASE..
Sorry. I missed it. Some of them have been updated, and .eu domains are now in third position..
You forgot Ukraine with our almost 200,000 domains.
27. Ukraine - 192,470..
Thank you, wasistdas (Das ist....
.pl HostGator is so expensive and a lot Polish sites using gtld instead .pl..
It would be interesting. However, I haven't found any statistics about .tv domain..
I asked the same question at the TV discussion board, and, apparently that info is unpublished. Maybe one of the .TV experts can expand, a bit. Based on my .TV searches, my unsubstantiated opinion would be that .TV would be up near the top 10, perhaps, higher but, that is only a guess. I am surprised to see Argentina as high as it is..
A good indicator of what countries are embracing their cctld. Of course, in some instances, speculation has to be figured into the equation (ie the recent .be promotion, and .eu land rush.) Ultimately, .CN will, for obvious reasons, be at the top the list..
Thanks for compiling this info. Great stuff!..
NIC Argentina provided me by e-mail these numbers. There isn't any public statistics in it's webpage, so I don't know if they are right. Anyway, I think .ar domains are free for argentinians, aren't they?..
I asked many admins of ccTLD zones but didn't get many replies...
Here is a list of the gTLD's updated weekly..
Here's a registrar ranking from their GoDaddy site as well..
I've just added some gTLD's, such as .com, .net, .org, .info and .biz...
10 Million .de-domains, and 2 million .eu-domains.
I'll try to put a link to the official registrar statistics...
Correct, I managed to secure a screenshot of .eu precisely when it hit 2 million...
With how many people on here were freaking out about .im, I'm sure there's a few thousand of those registered at least...
Ukraine upadte as of July 1:.
This aint an accurate list.in crossed 100,000 within 90 days of it's launch. Still it doesnt figure in the above list!..
Yeah. It should be there....
We all could improve and update this list, couldn't we?..
Luxembourg that high?! That seems unlikely, definitely given the restrictions on .LU domains and the little number of people to register .LU domains....
Nice to see my native Belgium and my adopted homecountry UK score well..
I think there aren't all the countries in the list, so Luxembourg should be in a lower position...
