Question I have... Has any one tried the lose 18lbs.in 4 days Medifast diet plan? Looking forward for any answer. My 2nd question... So I made Mushroom/onion smothered chicken tonight for dinner. I wasn't paying attention like I should've and I didn't chew small bites or slowly..

Needless to say I threw up. It was a hard reminder for me that even after making my goal weight, even a year plus out, I still need to follow my Ps and Qs..

Just thought I'd share..

Starting Weight 287.

Surgery.

Date 4/21/08.

Current weight 156..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could help you..

As I've mentioned, I'm not there yet, and I'm sure everyone will be soooooooooooooo glad when I am and can stop saying it! LOL But, as sadistical as it may sound,I am glad to hear our bodies can/will have a way of letting us know when we aren't doing something we're suppose to be! I'm afraid, for me anyway, if we didn't have those not so gentle reminders, we would be in the same situation we were before.

.. unhealthy and unhappy! Not good!.

I can relate to trying to remember to chew, chew , and chew some more. Do you find, as I do, that some foods seem to be "gulped down"? I find chicken salad was one of those foods I guess I inhaled. I switched to a small appetizer fork, that can't hold a large piece of chicken, so it first, forces me to cut it into those smaller bites, and then only holds so much meat ON the fork..

Thanks for the reminder. It is just something we have to keep in check forever..

Thanks for sharing your "unfortunate" experience. Sorry you had to go through it, but it is a good lesson for those of us not so far along to learn! I'm sure as the time goes by, it's easy to not be as conscious of what we're supposed to be doing, and end up with a situation like you had. I will certainly tuck this away in my mind to use as the time goes by!.

And congrats on your tremendous success! Your numbers are really inspiring! I am 6 weeks out, have lost 34#, and still have about 100 to go! Seeing what you have done encourages me that I can do it, too!!.

All the best,.

OH Yes I can so relate! I am almost 16 months out and still do this at times too. But I guess it is really a good way to keep us on track and using our tool correctly. I don't ever want to go back to the way I was before again!!!! I was 278 and am now 143 and below my goal weight that I set for myself..

Hell ya! that's it.....not paying attentionme too! It's When I am cooking and everybody is home yapping and having a good ol' time..That's my danger zone. I am glad I get sick it's a reminderyo dumb a**! Sometimes I don't feel sick for 15 or 20 minutes after. My love affair with Medifast food is over. We broke up and I have moved on. I am having too much fun doing other things besides stuffing oreos in my mouth!I am 20 months post op- I have lost 147 and weigh 140. I have weighed 140 for about 2 months.

I have better things to do!..
