First question I have is Has anyone actully finished p90x? and do you have to follow the Medifast diet plan? Thanks for any answer. My 2nd question... Just thought I would restart this thread, because it is taking a while to load now. Hope that is okay with everyone..

Here is a vat of sun dried tomatoes marinating in our own basil and oregano and garlic, with a bit of olive oil, this is how much we pic about once a week, this is a 5 gallon container, and makes about 4 quart jars of tomatoes when done. There are 6 different kind of cherry tomatoes in this vat. Cherry, Yellow pear, golden globe, yellow cherry, large oval cherry, and orange cherry..

Here is dinner for me and Dragggon, pesto stuffed mushrooms with pesto stuffed tomatoes these are the appetizers, and pesto stuffed squash and zucchini, done a couple different ways. This is a pic before they were dehydrated, will update after they are done...

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could assist you..

These are the raw Medifast food pics after dehydrating..

Oh man these were yummy. Alissa's pesto stuffed mushrooms, then I used the pesto to stuff everything else, the tomatoes were truly unbelievable, and the zucchini was really good too, I also really loved the yellow summer squash as it was very mild and just a tad sweet yummy. This was our dinner tonight, yumm yummmmmm yummmmmmmmm. Plus I am NOT a big zucchini fan, never ate it before going all raw. I do eat it in corn chowder and as noodles, but that was it until tonight. I'm gonna' eat this much more often now...

More Medifast food pics, we were in the kitchen so decided to have some fun, these are sage croquettes that I make for winter holiday dinners. I make them, dehydrate to dryer, then freeze them then dehydrate to warm again, when I choose to eat them. I also make a creamy sage sauce to go with them, out of tahini, the "breading" is flax seed meal, which makes them look very much like chicken patties or some such thing..

Also is a pic of some thyme and sage from our garden...

Just wanted to say you've inspired me cos I was feeling a bit fed up with doing the same things day in day out, I have penty of raw recipes but wasn't maing the effort, sometimes I just get in a rut but after seeing those pics I went right to my books and pulled outs some recipes and started cooking, or uncooking so to speak.

Oh and I envy you your tomato harvest, mine have been a disaster, every year since I came to England I try grow them with out much success, back In Australia I grew so many I had enough to freeze and dry to keep us going a whole year, anyway thanks for the pictures!..

Thanks for restarting this thread RP! I had to stop viewing the other one because on my dial-up it took for-ev-ah..

Your Medifast food looks amazing. It's almost 10 a.m. and I'm getting very hungry!.

I sure wish our garden was doing better. The heat about killed everything off, it was just too hard keeping up with it this year. It is the first year that nearly everything went kaput by the end of July...

Thanks Doe for posting the recipe,.

All I did was take a zucchini, and yellow summer squash, and then some cherry tomatoes, and cut out a bit of the center, just a bit, and put the pesto in them, just like with the mushrooms, and dehydrated for a couple hours..

The mushrooms have always been a favorite of mine, and the tomatoes are now too. But the squash, I thought would be yucky, but Dragggon made me taste it, (I won't get into details here) and I loved it, it was sooooo good..

So, now we can use Alissa's pesto on just about everything here. LOL..

****************.

As far as the sage croquettes, the best thing to do is to take several pate, or neatloaf recipes that you love, and try tweeking them, I used ground flax seeds into a meal to make the "breading" for these, and sage as my seasoning. I also eliminated any tomatoe type thing in my pate' recipe, then dehydrated to warm. The flax seed breading really makes them look and taste, breaded..

I haven't tried this on mushrooms yet, but will and then let you know..

Pretty much, most of the pics I post up here are Alissa's recipes in her book that you can buy on her website.

The book is her book, "Living on Live Foods" my number one favorite Medifast recipe book of all time. and of course, her DVD's really helped me with understanding the preparation, and I've been doing this for 3 years before I saw her video, so she's got alot of good tips and ideas that she shows you, besides, I just love watching that DVD, it's like shes talking to me personally in my kitchen, and I like that feeling..

Dragggon says, if it had grooves in it, like the old albums did, it would be worn out by now, Smart woman to put it on a DVD, instead of a VHS tape..

Or I'd be buying a new one, every month. LOL..
