My first question is Has anyone used Medifast and had results? Thanks for any answer. Another quick question... I was diagnosed a week ago. Since when my daughter, who is my only real special persion, has been too busy, she says, to come round and see me..

I have no idea how bad this thing may get - it's mild to moderate so far. I dread to think how awful it might get, and I have read all your posts and I need a cuddle, but no-one is there for me..

Please, I feel like such a whinging shit... Tell me it might not get any worse?..

Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an useful answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could give you an answer..

Take comfort in the diagnosis it gives you an avenue of treatment and a way to look at why your sick. Give your daughter some time to accept and to understand what going on with you. Like naturally cured says Change your Medifast diet I spent several months on a babyfood Medifast diet and then slowly reintroduced solid foods back into my system. I kept track of my reactions to them in a journal and I finally figured out what I cant and what I can eat as well as how I react to them, so that way if I go off my Medifast diet I know what to expect..

Exercise.

Will help to.

Reduce stress.

I recently got diagnosed. Mine is also a mild condition. I asked my doctor in tears if it could get better. And he stated" You just got on these meds. and it may not get any better as you get older" I will never forget those words. I'm changing doctors.

If you let them then you do have a problem. You are going to have to change your eating habits. I've read Natures Cure, and the Makers Diet.. I really reccommend the Makers Diet... it's biblical and it's about a man who has chrons and was literally almost dying.

Its very inspiring. I will let you know the writer. I don't have it with me now...

I wish I could tell you it won't get any worse but it might. Just stay on your meds, try and eat right. Find something you like to do to relieve stress. This support site has helped me feel less alone. I have had CD for @ 14yrs now and was in denial for 13 of them. I am just now truly understanding that I need to take care of myself.

Unfortuneatly I have found it's not just a Physical condition but a mental one too. I know you feel alone right now but (and I think I speak for everyone here)we are here for you. Feel free to contact me anytime. Hang in there-Life is not over..

Well... the fact is that you night. Don't follow lies, all that will get you is a "well how did this happen?", but the thing is... it can go wither way. You can get better.... and you can get worse.

Follow your GI's instructions... and find ways to relieve stress... and also... don't play coy around your daughter... tell her that you really need to see her, because right now is a very difficult time...

Hello and welcome to the club. I have also been diagnosed recently and I understand what you are going through. It seems as if with UC and Crohn's disease most people don't understand how you feel. They think that you can just take a.

Tums.

Or some.

Mylanta.

Or Immodium and you will be curednot the case..

I can tell you that your diagnosis means that you are in for a HUGE lifestyle change. You really need to focus in on your Medifast diet nowthat is the only way that you will get better..

I also have to admit that I have gotten most of my solice from the people on this website. I talk to friends, but they really aren't supportive of me. I advise that you make friends here and when you are feeling happy or low, just post something and people will definitely support you!.

As far as it getting any worse, I 've noticed that everyone's condition seems to vary. Some people are super sick and can't keep on weight or keep their Medifast food down. On the other hand, some people are doing pretty well..

Good luck with everything...and feel better! :)..
