My first question is How can I host my Wordpress blog at my .com without purchasing iPage Hosting? Many thanks for any answer or 2. Another quick question... Hi,.

I'm rather new to OSCommerce and I've finally finished my first install after having my host give me bad info. Anyways, I've run through the install and all went well and made it to the last page with the "Catalog" and "Admin" buttons. Unfortunately when I go to the either one of those pages the install process starts all over again..

Any help would be much appreciated..

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the right answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you an answer..

Dowload a new copy/clear cache and history/be very careful how you select things perhaps make a copy of choices and rerun it doing something different if you run into same problem..

ACK!.

No such luck by any means. I'm also getting a "Cannot connect to database" when trying to open the admin now. When going to the catalog, it wants to reinstall, again..

I've removed all files from the web server, re-downloaded the program and started over again. Still the same thing happens...

Forget the web-based install and do it manually. It only takes a few minutes. Create a database and user, assign user to database, put database and password information in includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php..

To create user and database use phpMyAdmin. If your iPage hosting company uses cPanel, it should be included...

Thanks dude. I'll give that a try this weekend and see how it goes. I had the thought cross my mind but it never made it past that..

Moving right along to the next issues....

Going into admin, I can bring up the admin/index.php page but selecting any links to into any admin produces the error "No input file specified.".

On the catalog side, bringing up the home page, which has to be fully entered, is fine, any other page simply comes up completely blank and the home page will not come up any longer..
