I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at Godaddy as they probably can answer it..
I was goig to check it out, but I loaded the page and got bored of reading his drivvel on that auction page..
If he has to right so much to get your trust... there's something fishy...
Going by that you cold win the auction but not get the 3 letter .com that is available. You could end up with a .biz or something like that...
Well if you bid on it yourself you'd be looking at a final value fee % that would break my bank! That wouldn't be too smart...
Ben42 all that he would need to do to stop paying that fee is file a non paying bidder alert..
It's a nice name. No doubt about it..
Looks like a scam, although the buyer did leave positive feedback. See this url:.
Two negatives and a neutral - Feedback changed to private - and the seller decides to list more "mystery auctions"..
Did I get good deal on this one?.
Problem is...I paid and have not heard from the seller...give me my LLL.org!!!.
I think that same seller relisted more similar auctions but clarified 3 letter could be hj6.org etc... if he tries to pull that on you I'd leave a neg feedback...
I think you are right. I paid $112.00...I was SOOOOOO excited when I saw I had won..
Maybe he'll send me a 3 character .com - it better be a good one!.
SHIPPING COST? Where is it reg'd?.
It clearly said 3 LETTER ending in .com or .org...
Well you know..I paid that...I was excited at getting a LLL.org..
I checked his history and he used to sell posters...I guess he forgot to take that out in the shipping details..
Looks like he's had a whole bunch of these auctions end with LLL's with bids too...no feedback on any of them yet...I just emailed him again and said I'd take a 3 character .com but no crappy Z letters...if he even has any .com's.....
Ugh! NEVER Bid on auctions like this, but especially with someone who doesn't have 100% feedback!.
I hope you can at least get your money back. Did you even look at his feedback!?.
Start the Paypal refund process now, believe me...
OMG- I also bid and won two of these auctions from the same seller. I have refused to pay him until he tells me the registrars of the names, but it takes him like 2 weeks to reply to an email. I've started to get a bit moody with him now as his timeframe is totally unacceptable..
I have also refused to complete payment until he confirms that there are no numbers in the domain(s) but he appears to ignore this request..
TBH I am really sick of waiting for his response- although I will let you know if he does come back to me Kerrijo..
In fact, gonna email him again now.....
On eBay, Click on "Advanced Search", top right of page, then click "Find contact information", and input your details..
If you want to contact your seller faster this might be the way to go..
Don't fancy your chances too much Kerrijo..
Samuelbradfords has had 89 positives and.
Negatives in the last 12 months. Not a great ratio, but I wish you luck...
Smells fishy to me, if they are real, he's losing a lot of money. probably selling 2j3.net or something like that...
Hehe tell that to the guy on ebay...most amateur dn'ers don't know there is a difference..
He's trying to send me a 3 CHARACTER. I am LIVID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
I just got the "pending transfer" for SA0.ORG..
How f'ing stupid does he think I am????????????????.
I have emailed and asked for a refund..
AND How do I get a refund from paypal for funds from my bank account?????..
KJ, sorry for your misery but there have been enough threads on these types of auctions, you should have known. But since he has tried to rip off one of our own... I suggest we give him the "treatment"..

He just emailed me...said he'd refund...so hold on there posse! LOL.
You guys are so great!..
I won the same lot to, but didn't paid for it.
I was right.
Good luck with your refund!..
You really need to report his practice to ebay. They do not look lightly on scams... Hope it all works out for you (aside from all the grief and time)...
I actually emailed the person with ref to the worth $$$$$ in the future. I asked them as they indicate in the ad that they guarentee it will be worth loads, Would they refund me IF I bid and they turned out be worthless, their reply was interesting..
I WILL INCLUDE A .COM 3 CHARACTER FOR A BIN OF $150..
So there was no intention of including a .COM in the original item!!!!!..
KJ, make sure he isnt stalling past the "point of no return"..
Dont get conned twice...
Well I had actually emailed and told him that I would take a 3 character .com instead of the 3 letter org...they would have to be a really good premium to go for $150...my payment was $112.50...wouldn't you say that was a good amount for a 3 character .com?.
Refund received with nice apologetic email..
Thanks to all for your support here, I really do love you guys and hope to meet some of you someday...
Glad you got this resolved. To answer your question about 3 char's....
No, check the market "guide", provided by member ZestyDomains..
This is not set in stone, but you can see NLN .coms or LNL .coms are around $50.00 <<< just as an example, some with meaning could be worth more...
Hey all, I got in just now to read the developments for you and thought i'd share my experience with the same affair, this is what 'sam' had to say in response to a very firm email I sent earlier after reading this thread and discovering others were dealing with the same guy, -as I said before I refused to pay him until I knew the domains were LLL.orgs at worst. His response seems pretty genuine to me Aand it's not in my nature to punish someone whose taken this much time to wind an excuse. Anyway here it is:.
Fair enough, will email him and say no hard feelings but that he shouldn't ever do these auctions...
What nonsense. Unfortunately we'll continue to see more of this trash until people stop bidding on them.......
Dont know about that, but I do know that if the guy gave more than 24 hours to pay with paypal I would have got pnh.net. ROAR. A lil bank transfer, a lil bid war with you chappy and I would be a happy camper...
First one I won on eBay in a long time!..
Well this mystifies me more and more.......
Is this some kind of scam or is it legit?..
