I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I bump into an anything. You should email the people at iContact as they probably know..
Where do I find these? Im using FireFTP because I had a few connection problems with Filezilla and I dont see .htpasswd or .htaccess?..
Those are in catalog/admin, the very first 2 files right under the list of directories..

Do I not need an FTP to change those>?..
You can change permissions either through your FTP program or directly through your host's CPanel. Try setting those two files to 644...
Done..
Now, i've had my basic training, I think I'm ready for the real thing..
The url to my store is /catalog, how can I change this to /store ? .
Www.twentyfive9.com/store/ was the original shop, all of my google analtyics and so forth was on that, and I'm currently first page search with this url so I dont want to change it..
Almost forgot; it also asks here during installation..

Ok, my 'customers' cant login..
Ive tried this with a dummy account too. you can register, after you've registered, it will say 'congratulations....etc.etc' but then when you try to login, it will just 'refresh' the page without any error script?..
Have you set up your configure.php files correctly?.
On a side note, for security purposes please do what Julian suggested in a previous post and rename the admin folder...
