Check the whois. The HostGator name is currently suspended but I do believe it is owned by a small organisation called Warner Music.

It is a fantastic HostGator name and I don't know why anyone wouldn't renew it. What brings the question?.

It is a Pre Nom HostGator and will be for release when ever nominet decide to release it (Nothing in place for Pre Nom Drop cycle as of yet).

For hits.co.uk I could easily see it going for 5k for a quick sale ... In other words if you want to turn it over quickly. If you are willing to hold on to it or develop it then 10k should be easy and would say it could reach 15k if everything comes together..
