That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an decent answer. You should email the people at Godaddy as they probably could give you an answer..

I only got into domaining last week and so far I've made $50.60.

Hey where are you guys getting your domains and where are you selling them..

I have been getting them from that fuzzy little warm place that domains come from...

Lol oh ok real funny I mean are you registering them new, buying here then selling somewhere else, name drops, deleted names and etc...

Around 3k so far. And some sales are going through. Right now I am building up. Haven't started selling out. Most of the domains have been developed and has.

PR.

And traffic. They get easy revenue which keeps me floating...

Are people talking pure profit or are people talking total revenue?..

I assume revenue here, made about 1.5-2k so far this year. Hoping for a big year!..

I am much of the developer then seller/buyer. My revenues till now have been $5k including some GoDaddy site sales as well..

Regards,.

Admans...

Spend around 1k(last 10months), without any selling, while got around $150 back from parking(5 month)..that's all.....

I got lost in my web......

Few Ks in 5 months ? That's miraculous!.

It seems like you didn't fall into the "Newbies Reg-Shit Names" chasm..

Good. Congrats!.

Does it make any difference here?.

With Annual Registration fee is less than $10 you make 90% clean net profit. (even more with godaddy loophole).

Unless you're a limited company, then you'll list all you overheads as expenses, which might reduce your ROI & net profit..

I would assume most of the guys here are hobbyist..

A couple hundred so far, this has been my best month so far, I only hope that things would continue to improve from here onwards..

Since January, a little over $8000.

I've had a little bit of interest on some others recently. Everybody wants a bargain!..

Unlike me.

I think I've made a grand total of around $50 this year, from one sale and advertising revenue. However I should make a couple of hundred more, hopefully, as I'm developing a few sites, mainly for sale...

I regged plenty of s**t to begin with. Was about to give up when someone offered me $2k for a name I bought here for $25. I used the profits to buy some quality names and kept going...

Wow, that was a very nice profit. $1975.

Hopefully I should be selling one of my sites in about a month for a little bit of cash. Will be my first major sale, if it goes through. I've not really made that much at all though, since I think I'm better at the developing/designing GoDaddy site of things than I am at actually finding/picking out the names. Still, hopefully I should get something decent, eventually..

I made $2K in April, regged $1.5k names in April. So I didn't earn money last month, just earned hundreds of names that may or maynot sell for hundreds of K dollars...

You reg'd $1.5k in names or bought $1.5k in names? Being that there's hardly anything worth hand registering these days, I can't imagine spending that much in new reg fees in one month...

Does that mean registering or buying from owners..

What kind of names do you look for? trends, topical, technical or the tried and trues?..

Pop,.

I just rejected 2.5k offer weeks ago, Zero sale so far..

8k in 5 months is genius. Obviously I need to learn many things from you..

Mikey..

I hand reg names..

It is very difficult to find good names available now..

So, when I find some, I immediately reg them..

Not sure how much they can worth, but very sure they are not garbage names..

I am expanding my portforlio soon with the profit I got from name sales..

When I regged the first 50 names, there were many crapy names in my porforlio, after long time reading and learning, I found some names I wanted..

Ah, not some, hundreds...

Hey Mikey,.

You're obviously doing something right. A lot of people don't even get offers that high...

Made $4995 profit on a HostGator name I bought for $5...

I'm not a domainer any longer but I tend to get bored and do a little business. My yearly profits? I really dunno... not much but I'm happy with it. I've spent at least $150 on domains since January and have sold several for about $500 or so $600 probably being maximum. Domaining pretty much sucks unless yuou know the ropes. I had to lose several hundred before I learned to make a penny...

I don't feel at liberty to give an exact dollar amount, but I have done better than I have expected this year. Hopefully sales continue at this pace.....

Easy! I sold 1 name in the NP live auction for $19. That's it!.

BTW so far this year I've spent about $250 on domains. I'm more of a collector/developer than a seller. I'm a very small fish in a very big pond!.

So, you gonna tell us yours Matt?..

$8900 Total.

Could have made more but did not accept all offers...

Well done guys. I've done a few K...which is not bad considering I only got into this game in January..

Keep posting your gains - it's a great source of inspiration for newbies!..
