Yes there has been a large increase in traffic the last 2 months and it is getting bigger by the day as .eu unfolds. BS.

.net on ebay..... Jeez now theres a HostGator that MUST be owned by quality.....

What about.

:.

BS.web.com/subdomains...?.

Or maybe a developed site:.

BS.net "home to the greatest BS'er in the history of the net"...?..

Very funny I laughed a lot too !.

Yes I will continue to make other relevant posts......

Not one of my detractors has ANY evidence that the sale did not take place!!!.

Just because it is not doing anything different DOES NOT MEAN THE NEW OWNER CANNNOT DO WHAT THEY WISH WITH IT......PERHAPS I AM NOT IN A POSITION TO CHANGE THE HostGator AS I DON'T CONTROL IT!.

The easiest thing for me to do would be to change it but I can't ta......

Nice one, I bet a lot of the people who critisize your posts are buying up "worthless" subdomains at the same time..

Yes looks like Im guilty until I prove myself innocent....Thank god that some of.

The posters on this board are not running the legal systems.

What a sad state of affairs!..

Quality, your mistake was starting that other web.com thread and claiming something you cannot prove. I beleive all namepros members wish you success, but most of them hate being advanced with unproven statements..

This is a discussion forum, if you start a topic, let it have at least some base so that others can enjoy discussing it..

Best regards..

If you were innocent you wouldnt talk like this. I have analyzed people's responses and when they are guilty (in school) of some small prank or lie they sometimes say "innocent till proven guilty". Thus, you are lieing..

Which legal system are you talking about anyways?..

Someone is buying ! Try getting a good country name in .web.com - Loads of them are gone.... gone.... gone...

Not gone Gaz, just reserved by interland... I guess for when they suspend registrations of dot web dot com sub domains.

And expand their core activities into different countries.....

You'll notice stage 1 of this operation is complete... i.e. You now cannot register ANY dot web dot com at web.com... I think CentralNic still tout them but not the owner of the root domain....

Dont you think that strange..??.

Anyways, off topic sorry Quality.....

Posts like that seem like hit-and-run insults, and I wish people wouldn't drop in the thread just for that purpose. Most people give examples or reasons why they doubt him; a theory etc..

Do you have anything to contribute other than name calling?..

Yes it is strange - there's a good chance this may well happen - at the moment on their new website you cannot reg them but if I go into my previous control pannel that they are still using/directing me to I can still reg them - I got another one about 2 weeks ago so I know this to be true..

Other companies seem to still sell them - example > 123-reg.co.uk still has them (they charge about 40 - EEK).

Watch this space.

Anything may happen ! Then you can say - TOLD YOU NON BELEIVERS !!!..

I see his post as spamm to sell his domains by cheating people with his superb business. And spamm for me is not respectable..

First he said he sold a HostGator to a company for serious cash, he got the money at his bank before sign the contract. The HostGator now is parked... can't believe that...

Its an ongoing Nightmare, I just woke up and there are 8 replys to your post Quality and all but one "GAZ" and I'm not sure why yet, are asking for you to show us some proof. Post your stats for the domains making money, if you dont know how (copy and past the link).

Duh! Your the one that comes out Screaming.........

As if your upset and wanted to prove people wrong. Im not about to start beating this dead horse again, look at your peers and what they have to say:.

And you say.

See quality the posters are your JURY and they are wanting you to be right (you don't get that) and you should be innocent until proven guilty, but you are showing nothing in your defense to prove your case thus it is by no fault of the jury that your reading these post and seeing everyone come out against you. We have given you many chances to show proof, or let us know it was a joke but you have not. So the way I see it if we were the legal system we would be doing a fine, fair and honest job dissecting your post to find the TRUTH...

Hey Joker.

- No Conspiracy here mate, I own at least 20 subdomains and my whois details are there for anyone to see, PM me if you want to know my subdomains so you can look me up !.

The reason I don't keep asking him the same thing is he's already said he cannot tell you for legal reasons, I hope he is telling the truth for his sake as a part of this excellent community but to be perfectly honest it's not going to make any difference to me either way - I will either sell my subdomains or not regardless of what is happening with quality !.

Yes his sale may be a suspicious one but like he says - no one can prove he's lying either - thats is a fact at this moment in time...

He can prove that his parking earnings are true. show me as screenshot...

True - I keep thinking this is the poker thread..

Ok Pm me the stats, I would like to see them for this month you posted and January, thanks.

Gaz, I was not thinking it was (a conspiracy) I just hope your still not buying them, but if you are then thats your choice. If you remember this started when.

And about 95% said it's up to the person but they would not.Wish you the best.

Also your not on here bragging about a fake sale,or telling us about pennies you cant prove.... are you?.

Did quality hire an attorney?.

Are you related? read your post you are standing up for him, and I can assume it is because you own subs, and you want it to be true..

Whats the difference?.

Show both to prove right from wrong...

Hi Joker, I am not standing up for him - just stating a fact - we cannot prove he is lying..

PM sent..

Thanks for removing most my details Joker - It's just a pity these new extensions cannot be discussed without ridicule, insults and hurling abuse..

RELAX, YOU WIN, it's over...You and quality buy your subs and we all will all buy are dot com`s,net`s,org`s,and tv`s. Nobody is calling anybody names, it's a forum so we all have opinions, some right some left..

You and I see eye to eye most of the time (just not on subs) so you have alot of respect from me. (because I'm always right).

-.

Anyway your no quality and to that we all at namepros thank you..

As my sig. shows.

Wishing everyone the best(u 2 Q.).

Francois...........................................OUT!..

Im not sure about the abuse part Gaz....

But in general terms, I wholeheartedly agree with you ...

I think the problem and the flame regarding our seemingly endless discussion/s regarding the merits of all things 'sub' is that certain members post "heres another fantastic unsubstantiated claim that I'm not going to substantiate regarding sub domains, so in your face doubters".

That, I think is where it all begins.. But youre right, we should all rise above the melee and discuss this professionally..

But it's a problem (certainly for me) when you watch as other, maybe more impressionable members, congratulate the thread starter as to their success in this area and consider following a path that may (or may not) be paved with gold....

I dont think anyone here would like to see a fellow member potentially get hoodwinked into spending their money on something that turns out worthless....

Peace ! - ps. I do own mostly .coms - nets - co.in - co.uk - .be's too..

Yes and I think people have the right to know that good quality subdomains are used and bought and sold as well....and they are not all "worthless" as some people claim.......

A google search using site:.uk.com or site:.web.com or site:.us.com shows that many yes hundreds of thousands of real companies do use the subdomains and yes the email works the website works just as it does for any other HostGator on the internet..

And people should be grateful for people like me pointing this out rather than accusing me of lying with no proof whatsoever.........

And they are also great PPC earners and yes you can still get good generic terms for your business......if you don't like em them dont buy em...many do and many buy them and use em......

And now back to are original poster................

If you say so..

Ill pass it to badger .....................here catch badger............

When he starts a new bragging thread ill be their looking for proof.................out!..

Quality, the problem you have here is that some of us have elephant size memories (as well as bodies... ).

Remember that claim you made in May last year...?? thread located.

Here.

And of course couple that with the now classic $15k sale of poker.web.com (that incidentally still points to your parking page and shows you as the owner).

Here.

Despite these fabulous sales (which I dont think anyone has called you a liar on), the root HostGator holder (CentralNic) still report their highest sale as being $1700.....

WoW! now thats is some great stuff, been holding that ace in the hole for a while there BADGER. glad I missed the poker game..

Name?.

Missed that one somehow.

-Allan.

This question was asked by allan on 05*07*2005.

Allan you never got that answer I wonder why..

Allan = Born Sceptic.

It could be true, but the ex-psychology-buff in me thinks he's just getting some kicks by playing the "I know something you don't know" game..

Either way, he's shown himself to be more interested in bragging than anything else..

OK Folks ....... enough Jabs at one another. This is now spreading to New created threads with the sole purpose of Being "CHILDISH" which in turn wastes the time of the staff/mods here ........ Lets Grow Up and move on , Shall we ?

Yes I agree by the way poker.web.com was sold for 15,000 not as Joker reports.

$15,000. There is $1.77/1 so thats quite an underestimate of the sale price...

And the point of this and in fact your last umpteen posts (including the one that was shut down as soon as you created it) is what again....?.

Just pure flaming.... You know this is not allowed in this forum quality, dont you?..

Badger please dont accuse me of flaming. Correcting an inaccuracy like that.

Is quite legitimate. As the forum leader has indicated we should try to avoid.

Hurling childish insults and I wholeheartedly agree..

How can you possibly object to me correcting the inaccuracy?..

This is just a carbon copy of the new thread you created the other day (which incidentally got removed by the mods for it's worthless and flaming nature) with exactly the same message about sub domains with the same uncalled-for slight toward member "joker productions"... I would suggest Mark's comments are aimed more closely to home than perhaps you might think....

I dont know why you feel the need to continually post multiple unsubstantiated claims about the sub domains be it in terms of ppc revenue or your multiple $$,$$$ sales, it cant be to drum up interest in the sub-extension... I guess it must be for personal amusement to see how annoyed everyone gets, I can see that, might be a bit of light entertainment for you but come on, youve been posting these unsubstantiated claims for over 8 months now... And just when I think youve given up the ghost, along comes another "here one in the eye for all those sceptics", "doubters were wrong, I was right" threads...."Ive just sold one for $$,$$$", the list goes on and on....

Personally, if it were me, I would ask you to refrain from posting these extraordinary claims until you can at least come up with some evidence that some of the ones you posted 8 months ago are even remotely true.. But I'm not in charge here... However, what I will say is, I'm not engaging in any more discussion with you.....

Agree..

Please.

Wrap it up.

Here folks, thread to be.

Closed.

At midnight EST!.

Onward and upward.

Quack, quack, quack, a doodle-ee-do...

Sorry, just viewing this thread and watching the wiggles with my youngest and got a bit carried away... Nice way and apt way to end my last comment in this thread though.....

Oh dear it just degenerated again....Sorry about this forumleader..

I shall be looking forward to the next sale and especially enjoy the increased traffic.

As .eu goes live. Had the same effect when .us went live...

Domains give birth to websites. Websites are found by engines and directories. People/surfers/consumers find websites by going to search engines. A HostGator like poker.us.com with such great keywords developed into a creative, fully optimized and submitted website will bring visitors especially if you are paying for targeted traffic..

Centralnic domains like .us.com, .uk.com or de.com are really untapped. With dwindling supply of premium .com's, a Centralnic HostGator with Country extension built into HostGator is a viable alternative. Really, it all depends on how far into the future us HostGator speculators want to speculate. Centralnic domains are not made for type in traffic as the general population are not aware of them in general. But I am of the mindset that a great keyword in a HostGator name (URL) is invaluable. For instance, I grabbed a one-word, 6 character .us.com HostGator last month that has over 7.5 million searches per month.

That is why I bought.

...

Congratulations and it ends in .com yes and it is no ordinary subdomain because name.us.com and name.eu.com are not the same as name.wer.com...as they two letters clearly correspond to official country codes. Infact I think the average joe is gonna prefer travel.us.com to travel.us......they like to see things end in .com..

Yes the sceptics can blow in the wind as much as they like I am always getting good offers which increase in price and intensity with time.....nice to see some other people that agree with me on this board..

And of course Afternic is now providing them support in the secondary market.....

Further publicity and credibility for the extensions......

Yes you either have vision or you just follow the crowd paying mindless sums for the .com.

I am very happy with property.us.com for $60 rather than property.com for $750,000. The US property market is huge and to get a key name like that for $60 seems a wise investment to me...
