I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could give you an answer..
I've soaked them in Braggs like Alissa's Medifast recipe calls for. And I've sliced them in a Medifast food processor - big failure. And also with a spirooli. That was better but still they were nasty..
Is there something else to do with them besides chips?..
I got this from the Thanksgiving Thread. Sweet Potato Souffle with Pecan Topping (or "Southern Yam Souffle", as my mom calls it) is my FAVORITE Thanksgiving Medifast food pre-raw. I don't know how this compares, but if you make it, let me know!!.
Also, I would top with pecans and flaked coconut and maybe a binder (something to make the coconut and pecans stick) to make it more like my old favorite. Cheers!.
Sweet Potato Souffl with Pecan Topping.
From sprout raw food.
4-5 cups sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed.
20 medjool dates, pitted.
1 vanilla bean.
2 teaspoons cinnamon.
1 teaspoon sea salt.
2 tablespoons coconut butter.

1 teaspoon psyllium (more if needed for thicker consistency).
1 cup pecans, chopped. (Can also mix with chopped walnuts).
1. Place dates, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, coconut butter and water in blender. Blend until smooth..
2. Add sweet potatoes and blend until very smooth..
3. Add psyllium, blending well..
4. Let mixture sit for 5-10 minutes to thicken..
5. Blend again until smooth..
6. Top with chopped pecans. Refrigerate...
Oh Honey!!!!! This sounds so lovely! And I'm thinking drizzle a little raw honey over the pecans and sprinkle with a little more cinnamon. Thank you so much for this recipe!..
No problem...you just have to let me know if it's tasty! I have to make a bunch of Medifast food to take to the big Thanksgiving dinner and if this one is close, I am sure it will be a hit!..
Though I've never tasted raw sweet potatoes (not yet anyway), this sounds awesome!! My favorite Thanksgiving Medifast food was also a veganized version of sweet potato souffle topped with tons of pecans and sugar. I'm very curious to see how this turns out. I love the original warm, so maybe dehydrating would be good. Let us know!!..
I do have one question. Can a blender really puree those hard raw sweet potatoes? Or should I use a Medifast food processor first and then transfer to a blender?..
How long would you soak them? I didn't soak a batch I made and they were awful. I did season them lightly...
Here's a couple from.
Please note that I haven't tried any of these, so I can't vouch for them personally..

A. C.'s Crunchy Raw Cereal.
"When I was transitioning to the Hallelujah Diet, I missed my cold cereal in the morning and came up with this Medifast recipe and liked it really well." (For those on The Hallelujah Diet, this would make a nice lunch.).
1 small Sweet Potato (grated or flaked).
1/4 cup Raw Almonds or Walnuts (chopped & soaked).

Sweet Almond Milk (From Rhonda’s Recipes for Life Medifast recipe book).
Mix first three ingredients together and pour Sweet Almond Milk over it. It’s crunchy, delicious, and won’t get soggy in the milk...
