I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the right answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I find an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could give you help..
I am 2 weeks farther out than you, and I have been in the exact same predicament as you, I am now 8 months out, and at 100 pounds exactly. I had to strugggggle for the last few pounds to get to that 100 mark. I think it is normal, but I look forward to hearing everyone elses responses as well. Please have some good news! LOL..
Congrats on losing 95lbs! I know exactly how you feel! I lost most of my weight in the first 8 or 9 months after my.
Surgery.
I know that you may feel like you aren't doing something right but don't worry. With all the.
Working out.
, you are probably building muscle, and unfortunately it weighs more than fat so that may be why the scale isn't moving as much. Instead of weighing yourself, try taking your measurements like once a week or maybe even once a month. You may not see a change in the scale, but you may see the changes in inches. Keep up your good work! :)..
I'm 6 months out now and have only lost 7 lbs this past month. So I'm not sure exactly how to bump it up to losing more either. You could try the 5 day pouch test. I remember when Ruthe's group did it a few months ago, most people lost 3-5 lbs. Also maybe a change in your workout routine. It's possible your body has mastered what you've been doing and needs a new challenge.
Because I lost 1 inch off my hips even though just 7 lbs off the scale. That brings my total to 15.5" lost just from my hips!.
Remember we're in this for the long term, the small bumps along the way are normal. Good luck and I know you'll make it!..
Oh yeah..it slows down big time, but it will keep going if you keep on track and stop snacking. It took me forever to get to 100lbs lost..I think I was stuck for a couple of months right before I got to onderland. I've only lost about 43 lbs since Christmas, so the majority of my 130 was in the first 3 months. Next week in my year anniversary. I'm still losing but only a lbs or so every 2-3 weeks or more...
Slow down is to be expected, I am 19 months out and am done losing (doing what I have been doing all along) so hang in there, ramp up/change up your.
Exercise.
And make sure the carbs are not a big part of your diet. most importantly is that you dont let the pounds creep back, the biggest concern. you have done great, you will hit the 100 pound mark just not as quickly as you would like...
I'm just 10 months out (136lbs down) but have also noticed a huge slow down. It started about a month and a half ago. I have tried changing things up and adding this and taking out that but the only thing that appears to work is time. Keep to my rules,.
Exercise.
And wait. To my surprise I've lost 4 lbs this week (during my period even) when I've been working at it the same as I have all along..
I believe that when my body's done....its done...until then...and after..I'll follow the rules 5 lbs to Onderland...this last 10 to Onderland has been a struggle..
Congrats with the weight loss so far.....
:).
Karla..
I hear you! I am only 4 1/2 months out and can't seem to hit 180 and it's been 1.5 months and I'm stuck at 183-185. Like you I too find myself snacking but not at night, my bad time is at work. But I am not getting in nearly enough calories as I should. So I don't know if I'm just stuck or if I'm done losing. I do have to say you look great! Keep up the good work and I'll see you in onederland soon..
Christine..
I haven't lost much in about 6 weeks,think i've reached my ideal weight.x..
Hello, I had my.
Surgery.
On Jan 6th, so we are about the same time of having this.
Surgery.
I have lost 150 pounds, but I weighed at 400 pounds when I had my.
Surgery.
My weight loss slowed down for the month of July, only losing about 10 pounds, and I am expecting a lesser weight loss when I go back to the doctor in September..
My down fall is nacho chips and cheese dip. I.
Stay away.
From them now, and I am eating 4 small meals now, so I can get more protein in my system. Congrats on your weight loss...
