First off, If I get a domain name from godaddy? Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. Second question.. So I have accumulated a hefty Paypal balance from selling domains and want to transfer that to my bank. Paypal say you can only transfer $500 per month out unless you sign up for some special program and pay monthly fees!.

Very annoying...

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I bump into an useful answer. You should email the people at Godaddy as they probably could give you help..

Well, at least not until you have a problem with them in the future.....

The best paypal experience is to have your account suspended until you are able to fax them with faxed docs of proof of residence....and er, message received while you are abroad with no access to anything except steaming internet caff...priceless!..

Have some of you guys even bothered to read the fine prints?..

Yes, but it hasn't stopped Paypal from screwing with customers who have done nothing wrong...

Yeah if you get verified then your monthly withdrawal limit wil rise. According to the country you live in..

US citizen has high withdrawal limits compared to other countries. (This is for business account)..

Personal accounts are not for us...

Lol. The fine prints are to protect themselves from being sued. But still people complain about this and that. Nobody is ever going to stop people from complaining.. But do you ever hear the other side of these stories?.

It is very easy to make up a story. But did most of these "stories" actually happen and what does paypal have to say.. Yes I know there get money back thing is horrible..

What else do you expect from a big company than to be screwed over? lol.

Atleast you actually have the internet and are making money....

I guess you could even say you are privileged to be screwed over by paypal...

Lol.

Jokes.....

I've never had any trouble with them. I have a business account, and the only fees are the credit card and regular transaction fees..

Okay, so what would you think if Microsoft were to own Paypal (though buying Ebay).

So far, my experiences with PayPal have been AOK. I've had 1 name buyer dispute that he paid twice and I wasn't refunding his overpayment, which PayPal promptly looked into. I spoke with them on the phone and got them to inform the buyer that he in fact only sent 1 payment. Never heard back from the guy (likely attempting to scam me, albeit for a whopping $12!) and problem was solved. Even if that situation proved to be difficult, weighing positives with negatives would not be too bad..

I remember the first time I signed up with another online payment site, Neteller. At least back when I signed up there, their GoDaddy site before I signed up said absolutely NOTHING about having to call them and verify information in order to activate an account. So there I had created an account and would sign in, but for whatever reason the page I wound up going to seemed incredibly lacking and I found myself barely able to do anything. I was desperately looking for where I could accept an incoming payment, because the $800 a buyer had just sent me to pay for a name was nowhere to be seen on the page, and I couldn't find squat about it. Completely confused and frustrated, I used their customer service chat thing and found out I needed to call them. For a while, I thought I was going to have to tell this one PayPal-less name buyer to pay by check or money order! It was freakin' absurd! I find it funny that that seems to be the main GoDaddy site besides PayPal, especially for large transactions (all the poker affiliate programs pay by Neteller for instance).

PayPal on the other hand is pretty straightforward, and again, like with PayPal makes dealing with online transactions sooooo much easier than life without it...

I think that's the difference between a personal and business account. Personal accounts have a bunch of limits...

I might remember incorrectly, but doesn't there debit card remove those limits? That would also give you fast access to cash at most credit union atms (Fee-less).

Are you still an unverified user? You need to be verified to withdraw the tranfer limit...

My mistake - I just needed to add my Social Security number..

I guess Paypal's not so bad......
