Quick question... I'm trying to sell a iContact mailing list, where should I start? Thanks for any answer or 2. Another question I got... Hello guys,.

I want to buy a template from a website, however the template's size is 1400px. This looks lovely on my larger screens which have a higher resolution, but on smaller screens I need to scroll from left to right to see the whole site..

How can I change this so that the iContact site fits properly on all screens? Also, if I change this, will I need to change other setting also, such as the size of the categories box etc?.

Thanks..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at iContact as they probably could assist you..

Thanks, I really want this template though... there are no second best for what I want.....

Can I not change it so that it is dynamic? so that it works in percentages?..

Of course you can, everything is possible..

But my question is, if you are going to do all this changes, and are able to do so, then why to buy a template and not create a same/similar one that will fit your needs 100%. For sure you plan other customizations too. You will also avoid various hacks done by the creator, that will make your life harder when it comes to instal addons etc, I mean for the case the template is not supported.

Lol because I do not have the skills to make my own template..... I can probably change the theme a bit and with some help can probably change the size, but there is no way I can make a theme......

So is it best I get the template first and start playing with it? I mean it's going to be hard to try and identify how to resize it if I dont even have it's files......

This depends on your skills and on how the template is constructed.

I can not tell you anything about what to do, it's your decision...

Would you (or anyone else) be able to offer a hand if I get stuck?..

It's harder to get proper (if any) answers in the forum if you have a template, it depends again of the "nature" of the problem and how much the core code has been altered by the template maker..

I would make sure that the template seller offers support...

The width should be set somewhere at the beginning of the stylesheet (or however the .css file is called) at the body definition.

It's very possible that other elements with a fixed width, also graphics etc will be messed up if you change to ie 1000px. It all depends on how the template is created..

My admice: Find a template that would fit into a 1024 screen..
