Question I have... Is making light of your weight a good Medifast diet plan? Thanks in advance for any response. Another quick question... Ok I am 8 months out. I am at 217. Started at 265.

I know as I read through the.

Discussion.

Boards that the less weight you have to lose the slower it comes off. My MD said I am at the point of not expecting more than 1 pound a week weight loss..

But I noticed lately that I don't feel "full" as fast. How do I return to that feeling. I think I am easily eating 1 cup per meal..

Any tips welcomed! Any comments and encouragement appreciated...

Callie I love the article! That makes me feel better. I know the one rule I have to continue to work hard on. The fluid intake before and after eating. That is truly hard for me. What tricks do you use to adhere to that. Thank you again! :-)..

IHi,.

I am also 8 months out.....233pds day of.

Surgery.

187 pds now..

I have literally not lost more than 1 pd at a time... I have not had a full.

Feeling since day one and now think something is really wrong. This has been very difficult as I had 120 weight loss that I kept off for 15 yrs. So I know I can do it....Until a few weeks ago I really did believe what the Dr. and Nut said about being smaller to start... I am not sure I buy that anymore.......

I'm glad you liked the article. That is exactly what I struggle with most too, the fluid intake. How I do it is simply just to be sipping as often as I can on some crystal lite. If my pouch gets too dry, it makes it very difficult to eat or take pills. I get the most thirsty with dinner, I guess because it can be highly flavored or salty. So while I cook, I drink a glass of milk.

And also seems to make me not so thirsty after dinner so I can hold out an hour before drinking again. I make sure I stop drinking the milk 20 min before I'm eating. But I am guilty sometimes for taking a small 2 oz cup and drinking a little with my meal...

One thing for me was I never ever got the full feeling until I ate carbs..

I had not touched a carb for literally for 2 years! A month a go I went to DOn Pablos for lunch and had a burrito and some beans ! On the way home I told my wife for the first time I felt full not sick but full. try a few carbs and see how you feel!..

Hi Bvanweb,.

Losing nearly 50lbs is no small feet..

I should imagine at your start weight you were quite low on BMI. I am a week away from my op and a little under where you were (260lbs)..

Slowly slowly catchy monkey in some cases, if being healthy is loosing 1lb a week for you, then try to do just that..

We are expected to loose somewhere near 80% of our EXCESS body weight in the first year for it to be considered a success..

Dont beat yourself up yet, you have not stopped losing, just slowed down..

Best of luck.

Andy..
