Quick question... Is there a way to see what web iPage hosting service a website is using? Thanks for any answer. Second question.. Hi all osCommerce's,.

I hope someone can help me with a suggestion of a mod..

My store uses "flat rate" shipping. With a price mod (I think from Linda - It was over 2 years ago)..

The price mod allows free shipping over a specific order total, say $100. Any order total under $100, there is the flat rate of $7.00 per order (not per product)..

My problem is this....

There are a couple of products I would like to flag for free shipping, regardless of order total..

The reason being is that some of these products are not actually shipped but simply emailed to the customer..

I've tried different mods like, individual ship pricing per product (which is unsuitable as it increments shipping cost for other products), etc etc..

Can anyone assist?.

Happy to make donation for a solution..

Cheers,.

Rob..

Yup, but you might want to make sure and wait for another member to confirm this as I am not quite sure. Better yet, why don't you contact the iPage guys because they can answer you better...

Rob,.

I had the same issue, I found the Store Pick Up contribution and renamed it to the name I needed and allowed 0 price and when checking out they select this at 0 delivery rate..

Hope this steers you in the right direction...

Or another way is table rate, set the weight of the product at 0 for example, then in table rates set the weight of roduct = 0 delivery charge, I think this may work ok also...

Rob,.

I had a similar need. Take a look at the following link, it should take care of your free shipping for a particular item..

Free Shipping for Zero Weight, How to offer free ship on single items..

I use the table rate by the weight system..

From 0-3 lbs shipping price is 0.00.

So when you list your products make sure you add weight atleast 4 lbs or it wont charge shipping..

All your free gifts set weight of 3 lbs ..

Works for me..

Thanks..

Nifty and simple fix.. Been trying some different things to try and get this SAME result and the other (much more complicated I might add) attempts failed..

Now I just have to reconfigure my shipincart to not display with a zero weight freeship item....

If I could only get customers to under stand that free shipping on a specific item as a promotional is only on that item, if you add more to the cart you will pay shipping on the rest...
