Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I bump into an useful answer. You should email the people at iContact as they probably could help you..
Do you know the Java code I could add?..
But, I want to display the page they typed in which is the iContact site they think they are at. I'm looking to display the forwarded url.... not the actual url...
Maybe the referer but you will never get the page they typed in if you have it forwarded...
I was hoping it would be easy. It's in the IE address bar because I'm using the godaddy masking option to forward. Can't I just reference the address bar content somehow?..
Doesn't sound like true URL forwarding to me. I suspect they're using a cheating frameset which then loads your forwarded page..
Let me know if this works:.
Kal..
You have been given the code twice so far, lets see how you use it..
The script with the word "parent" seems to do nothing. It displays nothing. The script without parent displays the actual address, not the original..
Is the site...
I don't see any forwarding going on. you have them in frames which to me is not forwarding..
All you are getting is the url the frame loaded...
I really don't understand much. GoDaddy.com calls the service forwarding. It comes free with a domain name purchase...
Put the script in the page and let's see if we can work out why it's not doing anything...
I just added the script. Thanks for your help. I really would like this to work......
Godaddy gives me the option to add.
"Dedicated Hosting IP Add a Dedicated Hosting IP to this account".
And the following controls to manage:.
MX Records.
Total DNS Control (Zone-File).
Aliased Domain Names.
Would any of these controls help?.
When I go to tstn.com the script displays tstn.com....
When I go to any of the forwarded sites the page comes up with error.....
