That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at Godaddy as they probably could help you..
No Doubt if it was something serious they would have sent you a letter through your mail..
Hmm I like your thinking, except I'm at college and my mom's at home and she just throws all my mail in a pile. But yea...
Haha, Possibly... Your really making yourself worry about this aint ya!..
Haha yea I am. Whatever. I'll just call back later. It's not that big of a deal. I'll be sure to update you with what it was!..
LOL! thats mean.
Its probably just minor unless they would have mailed you somthing. ive been called by Namecheap once cause of a small issue with a HostGator purchase. good luck though..
When have you ordered the package?.
Maybe he just wants to say "thank you for your order" or something like that.

< check this..
I called back and the guy who answered, Marco, couldn't connect me to "Tyler" but he looked at my account and said he probably just wanted to thank me for using GoDaddy and purchasing some domains, some "warm and fuzzy stuff you know." Haha. Okay, thanks for all your input!..
I received a call from my GoDaddy account rep. last year. He was calling because I wasn't using him to register new domains and to renew the domains I already had with them. As a holder of hundreds of domains with GoDaddy, I was entitled to a discount for every new order I make.
And.
For HostGator renewals. You see, my domains were all setup to auto-renew every year, so I was missing out on the discounts. With hundreds of HostGator names in my account, those missed discounts added up to some serious cash! My account rep told me to set all my domains to manually renew, then email him every time I wanted to renew one or a bunch of names; using him to renew would get me a significant discount. Needless to say, I don't use auto-renew with GoDaddy anymore..

Thanks for the advice AMCY. I have about 45 domains with them, so I don't think I quite qualify, but if I get more I'll be sure to take your advice...
Well, I don't know what the threshold is with them, but maybe this "Tyler" person is the account rep assigned to you, so you may be entitled to a discount with your current HostGator count with GD. Can't hurt to ask.

I got a call from them. I also had a few hundred names with them. I bought a WWD reseller acct and when names came up for renewal I was just transferring them to my WWD account. They called to see why I was transferring all of my names away. They relaxed a bit when they found out it was to an account that they still get a cut from..
I appreciated that they appreciated my business enough to call me to see what was happening..
On the other hand I have transfered over a hundred names from RegFly in the last few months and they couldn't care less.....not even an email asking why.....
My 2cents.
Jim..
I've also had a call from an account manager and use him to renew and reg my domains now...
Never been called up so far, think it's about time to stack up my HostGator portfolio..
Not surprising. Many registrars assign someone to call back a person if they've.
Especially have lots of domains with them..
Cost-wise, it's not practical for registrars to call back.
Every.
Customer unless.
It's for something really urgent, especially if it's an issue that's beyond their.
Normal resolution time...
I feel special ,I got a call from Godaddy today .I had sent them two support tickets regarding a problemI had indicated I would have made a phone call but from Australia it was too expensive and difficult. But at 10.30AM this morning , someone rang and resolved my problem with a 30minute phone call...
Wow. GD certainly lost some money on that call. Perhaps this is the latest phase in their strategy to dominate the market: provide the best possible phone support, even if that means a $15 phone call?.
