A new forum promoting Al Gore for 2008 discusses his latest film entitled "An Inconvenient Truth." The film discusses global warming, storming and a host of other bad news that generally makes a good day into a bad one.

In this documentary, Al lays out the facts in such a meticulous manner, you've got to think, how can there be global warming skeptics. I've also had the opportunity to read the book he wrote back in 1992, Earth in the Balance.
Besides his dedication to the environmental cause, it's amazing how he predicted a lot of the events associated with global warming way back then, such as the emergence / spread of diseases and stronger storms.
Global warming has been a semi major issue in the US, although the topic can not compete with the War on Terror and American Idol.
Apparently there are some who doubt that global warming is a valid issue, although I lack the scientific geek powers to decide one way or another (since you can find plenty of scientists on either side of the debate). Anyways, Vivek points readers towards a theatre listing and here is a preview of the film below.
