Quick question: What are side effects ofSOUTH AFRICAN Medifast GORDON? Many thanks for any response. My other question... Morning Everyone - Hope your week started well!.

I promised to have an L&G Theme today so that is what we have. I will pose a few different questions and you can pick and choose which ones to answer:.

1) What is your favorite L&G?.

2) What is your fall-back L&G when pressed for time?.

3) What L&G do you fix when you are starving and really need a "substantial" meal?.

4) What lean entree or veggie would you really like to have more of if only you knew a good recipe or way to fix it? (Future threads could be built around sharing ideas from the "wish list".).

Have a Good Day!..

1) What is your favorite L&G?.

My favorite has changed over time. I used to really enjoy creating the taco salad (groundbeef or turkey mixed with some taco seasoning placed atop a salad with 2 tablespoons salsa and a bit of grated low-fat cheese.) I ate that a couple times/week for months. But now I really like steamed or poached salmon with a sprinkling (or sprig) of dill weed and a tablespoon of Walden Farms Sweet Onion Dressing drizzled on. I eat this twice a week whether I am strictly following the 5/1 or now in maintenance mode..

2) What is your fall-back L&G when pressed for time?.

That salmon recipe mentionned in #1 is actually my fall-back because it is on the table in 5 minutes. 7 minutes if I need to thaw the salmon fillet first (microwave)..

3) What L&G do you fix when you are starving and really need a "substantial" meal?.

When I was super hungry and felt like I really needed a serious volume of food then I had either the scrambled eggbeaters with veggies (2 cups is a whole lot of eggbeaters) or chicken breast with salad and steamed cauliflower or broccoli. The fiber in the broccoli or cauliflower seemed to help fill me up more then a lot of other veggies..

Looking forward to everyone's ideas!..

1) What is your favorite L&G?.

Lately, my favorite L&G has been extra lean ground beef cooked on the George Foreman Grill. I just eat this with some veggies, usually green beans and some bell pepper. Pretty boring, but I love this meal! Also, I have baked orange roughy at least 1x a week...just season with a little Emeril Fish Rub and bake, it's really good..

2) What is your fall-back L&G when pressed for time?.

Morningstar Veggie Burgers are super quick and especially good when baked in the oven...a minimal effort/time meal!.

3) What L&G do you fix when you are starving and really need a "substantial" meal?.

Probably something using spaghetti squash. I haven't made it in a couple months (OD'ed on this meal.

), but spaghetti squash with tomato sauce and meat or meatballs is really filling..

4) What lean entree or veggie would you really like to have more of if only you knew a good recipe or way to fix it?.

I would like more fish recipes. I'm not too fond of "fishy" fish and really like mild fish the best..

I'm a "plain Jane" as my husband calls me when it comes to food. I tend to eat the same things over and over again!.

Folks, I am going to be absent for a bit. My friends husband died this am. This is the friend who previously lost both of her children. She needs folks around her now..

Oh, Robin, take care of yourself and your friend. Healing thoughts heading your way..

On a foodie note, Pink, I am intrigued by the idea of the ground turkey and cottage cheese dish; do you cook it in a skillet? I assume you do the turkey and mushrooms first, then mix in the cottage cheese so it melts and blends in? How much cheese?.

And Amy, I want you to post that roasted kale recipe you mentioned in your blog!..
