Good question... I dunno what is the answer to that question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably know..
Patricia..thank you for the advice..I know that I will start to lose again. I see exactly what I was doing wrong...taking too long to eat and not throwing away what I couldn't finish in the time frame allotted. I will be back on track!!..
I'm at 6 and 1/2 weeks and I've stopped losing too! It's very frustrating! I know I can't be eating more than 5-600 calories a day so I feel I should be losing! I've lost 32 pounds so far. the amount of Medifast food I'm eating doesn't fill me up and I'm getting hungry so that is also very frustrating. I didn't expect to get hungry...
Ladies, ladies, ladies... the plateaus ( even at the beginning ) are all perfectly normal and par for the course..
So is hunger..
This is not a miracle cure..
Your bodies will rebel and do all kinds of crazy things in it's effort to keep this weight on to keep you (it thinks) alive..
You will feel some hunger but nothing like you expecrienced in the past and nothing that a small amount of Medifast food (preferably high in protien) will not fix..
Don't panic just stick with your program and everything else will sort itself out..
I am at just over 4 months and down 75 pounds..
I have hit many plateaus and am on a grueling one right now (4 weeks at the same weight).
However I tried all my size 16 jeans on that I had waiting and at the ready and they are all loose!!!.
You will get there... don't panic and keep the.
Faith.
...
Thank you.

!! That makes me feel better. I try so hard to not get frustrated and worry that I will do something wrong. I just want ot.
Lose weight.
So badly and don;t want to feel as though I did this.
Surgery.
For nothing! I am also somewhat impatient...trying to work on that!.
Thank you again for the head check!..
This a world of "I want it yesterday"....but reality is, just keep doing what you're doing and it will come off!! One day you will look back on a "plateau" and say "why did I waste time worrying about that?" Enjoy each healthy day!..
What.
Hope.

You are doiong well. It is hard, but be patient. Like they all said, keep hydrated. Stick with your program and the scale will move..
When you think you are hungry check out Eggface's 50 things to do instead of eat. (or something like that) on her website. You'll come up with some new ideas to try when you get the feeling that you just want to graze. I am 18 months out and down 130 lbs. If I can do it, you can too!..
