First of all What are some quick easy Medifast recipes for me to make for my grandparents? Looking forward for any answer. Another question on my mind: I may have asked before, but I am bummed this week with the Thyroid and it's symptoms. How much harder has it made the journey? Has any one with Hypothyroid lost all their weight?..

I haven't lost ALL the weight yet, but I'm 24# from my goal.. not bad, considering my initial goal was to lose 106#. I'll get there, I'm only 9 months out and still taking my.

Levothyroxine.

And my thyroid numbers are in check for the moment - although we know that could change any time. Stupid thyroid. :D.

My imbalance disappeared with the extra pounds. Do get treatment so you feel your best, but also be encouraged about the potential for remission...

I am hypothyroid. Never have normal thyroid levels...even after 10 years on.

Synthroid.

Levels are always high. Just recently went to my first endocrinologist. He kept me on the same dose of.

Synthroid.

...even at a level of 9. Frustrating to say the least. And no...I haven't lost all of my weight...have approx. 20-30 more to go at 1 year out...

I have had Hashimoto's disease which is a thyroid condition where the body attacks the thyroid and have been on.

Synthroid.

For years. The condition and medication did not effect my weight loss...

Wow, I have been on.

Synthroid.

For 3 years at least. 150 mcg and just moved to 175 mcg. I lost 15 pounds to start but have gained that back and more. I am always hungry, my skin is dry, I retain fluid like crazy, you can.

Leave.

Finger prints in my legs and ankles, my hair is dry, my legs ache and I am tired easilty. Why is it working for everyone else???? ARrrrrrrrghhhh. thanks for the vent..

I use levothyroxin, just took my dosage from 137 to 125 with the weight loss. Still feeling good..

Terri, get the docs to run the tests again. You're not to blame here, so get them off the stick!.

Hugs! Patricia..

Thanks so much patricia. but the TSH is in range and not the higher end. She won't consider armour and I don't know what else to do. I can loose like 2 pounds after 3 weeks of dieting at 1800 to 2000 calories a day. If I go much lower I am so hungry I binge. However the trouble with the other is if I don't stick with it meticuously I gain it back double.

Surgery.

Maybe they will stumble across something at Duke when they do the tests. I know yall will keep me in your thoughts when the time comes to test. Thanks everyone...

I was hypothyroid before I had weight loss.

Surgery.

And I am still on the same dose of Levothyroxin, 0.75 MG. My TSH levels are within the normal range. I am within 10 lbs. of my goal weight. I have noticed that since I had weight loss.

Surgery.

, my skin is much drier than it was before and I don't know what is causing that. Despite being hypothyroid, I feel so much better having the weight off and I.

Hope.

You will too - best of luck!..
