First question I have is What are tracking Medifast cookies in a computer? Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. Second question of mine... The tap water here is so chlorinated but until I started eating raw foods I didn't realise just how bad it was. I think getting so much pure water from the fruits and veggies threw the tap water into stark contrast!.

Even filtered, the water is not as nice as the mountain water back in Wales but it's so much better than before! I had reached a stage of buying bottled and I can't afford that long term really!.

Hiya, I have found the same thing happening to me. First I transitioned to bottled water but then that started to taste almost plastic so I got a large electric water filter. When I can afford it I will invest in one of the osmosis types or get filter taps fitted to my home. Ive also found the bath water a problem for my skin so bought a great gadget called The Crytal Ball made by Rainshow'r. It's made in the US but if you google it you will find a few UK suppliers online..

I've become way more sensitive to chemical smells too, my son's deoderant makes me physically gag now & if friends are using those plug in air 'fresheners' (more like poisoners)I truly cant breath properly & can really taste the chemicals in the air!..

I bought an water ozonator/purifier a couple of months ago, and it has done wonders for me..

I rarely drink tap water and when I do, I feel sick to my stomach..

The water in my area smells like Chlorox.

I also started noticing the plastic taste in bottles.... so whenever I need to "transport" water or smoothies- I use the glass Kombucha bottles hihihi.... they're great!..

When I purchased my home it came with an AMWAY water filter system under my kitchen sink and since I have to order the filters directly from AMWAY I decided not to get another filter and I have stuck to my BRITA and my bottled water mostly ever since. I love the taste of our tap water.. I just don't like that I have to waste water while I sit there testing with my finger in hopes it will get nice and cold really fast... it rarely does and semi cold water is gross...

Greetings All.

Check out the line of Berkey water filters at.

They are used all over the world where clean, potable water is needed by relief agencies, various militaries, people living in remote areas where clean water is not available, etc...

They are gravity fed water filters with high tech carbon filter cartridges that last for 1-2 years before needing replacement...

The carbon filters eliminate chlorine, bacteria, cysts, etc. much better than the Brita filters do...

Rinsing the carbon filters off once a month, & wiping out the inside of the two compartments is the only maintenance required...

They also have a supplemental cartridge that eliminates flourine & arsenic from water...

The higher original cost of the Berkey's is more than offset by the cost-to-use ratio of the filter cartridges...

They are somewhat expensive compared to a Brita, or similar, system...

The Berkey's are portable & not permanently attached to any part of your home, so if you move they can easily be taken with you...

I bought mine as I was not content with the smaller capacity of the Brita Water Pitcher; in addition to the fact that I thought my water could still taste better...

I am very pleased with the operation of my Big Berkey, & the taste of the water that comes out of it...

I hope that this info is helpful to anyone considering how to get better tasting, more healthful water...

As regards to carrying clean water that you have filtered yourselves around with you, what are others here at Alissa's using to do so??.

I am looking for a reasonably portable glass container that is easy to fill, easy to clean, & seals reliably...

Thanks, Bruce.

P.S. I ride a motorcycle a lot so it needs to be able to seal tightly while lying on it's side sometimes....

As for a water tight reusable container, I use SIGG bottles. Got them at Whole Foods...

I carry water in a stainless steel thermos. Its rugged and made to carry liquids. I think you can get them glass lined if you want...
