First question I have is What inspires you to try new Medifast recipes, ingredients and flavors the most? Thanks for any comment. Another quick question... Hello,.

I can't believe what a ride this has been... Prior to my recent repair the only foods I could eat were eggbeater omelets and greek yogurt and of course, sf pudding and pureed soups successfully. A couple of times I could tolerate some chicken but truthfully I tolerated foods so seldomly that I can barely remember what I ate :).

Now, they told me that they want me to soft foods (yogurt/pudding/soups) and nothing more advanced than that for the next 2.5 weeks! Including egg beater omlets - - Geesh!.

Any suggestions? I've only lost 38 lbs and have been really good at keeping my calories ~ 5-600/day with a couple of protein shakes and as of today am back to.

Walking.

My 3 miles (with some intervals to get the HR up)..

Any favorite foods for someone on soft stuff? It's almost three months now and I'm just looking for some recommendations to make it thru this until I can try some real foods.

THANKS,.

Colleen..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an anything. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably can answer it..

Cottage cheese is great, and you can add Splenda to it, and.

Cinnamon.

, if you want it to be sweet, or just eat it straight. I love Chobani greek yogurt, I could eat it all day without a problem. What about purees? If you can tolerate the consistency you can puree a whole bunch of stuff, and that's soft. :D.

I just ate some where between 1/4 - 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt with some Torani SF syrup in it and must say I either ate it too fast or it was too much because I can really feel it... I'm not nauseated (yet ; )) but I can feel it, maybe too much..

Ahhh, back to mantra's....

Everyday is an adventure and It's getting better everyday.

Thanks you guys!.

Colleen.

P.s. I think I'll just puree lentil soup or something because I don't really love fish and if the yogurt weighs heavy I should probably inch my way there. Thanks!..

I loved pureed lentil soup!. Also search Eggface's site for 'pureed food" she has a lot of great ideas. One thing I did like was ricotta cheese (cottage cheese makes me gag - always has) with some pureed Italian sauce on it and then heated/nuked. I even did it with sauce that had sausage in it (pureed!!) and at least it tasted like real food. Also refried beans from Taco Bell - they are really soft..

Here's hoping and praying this fix works for you!.

Greek yogurt just made me ill... Called the NP and back to fluids.

I'm not sure I honestly can deal with much more of this friggin crap, it's been one short of three months! I need to go back to work and quite honestly, I'm not going back until I can eat something - - not an unreasonable request considering I run my butt off for 12 hr days..

Honestly, I'll be cheery on another post I just have to say this....

I wish I had NEVER done this!!!!!!! If I had only had a clue, it's not worth it and I should've known that I would've been in the 2% that doesn't fly based on how complicated my.

Hysterectomy.

Was. WTF!.

Thanks for.

I just tweeted you but I wanted to say I'm sorry you are having a rough time. I have heard sometimes it take a couple of dilatations to do the trick :( a few pals from other.

Support groups.

I've known had to go in a couple of times but it did the trick eventually. Hoping there is smooth sailing for you soon..

Maybe thin the yogurt with some milk & SF syrup. Gets the protein in at least till you can get back in to the Dr..

I remember how this softdiet works. Try some other flavored sugar free puddings. Kozy Shack has a sugar free Tapioca pudding. You can also get Jello instant sugar free puddings in other flavors-like lemon and pistachio flavored ones.I don't know If they have sugarfree custards in the instant too, but read labels always so as not to get the "Dumping syndrome". I am also a fast eater, and Nakupenda62 gave me an excellent idea, to set a timer so that I can try slowing down and wait alittle bit inbetween bites. Maybe you might need to slow down too.Good Luck with all of these suggestions.

Hope.

It was helpful to you...
