Good question... I dunno what is the answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could help you..
Thanks so much mike, that did the trick. can't tell you how relieved I am.
Cheers..
You should create a private cache directory and then you can turn the cache back on.
Http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/osCommerce/A...nfiguration/166..
Thanks for the tip dave.
I followed the link you gave, however i'm left a little confused....
"change the path in the "Cache Directory" to your path like /home/username/www/cache/".
According to my admin panel the cache directory is set as:.
"/tmp/".
Is this where I would change the value to"/home/username/www/cache/"?.
Thanks again..
Hi.
Please can somebody help..
Looked at my iPage site today.
Http://www.artsuppliesuk.co.uk.
When I first bring the iPage site up all is well. However when I click on the banner to return to the home page or click on the cart contents link etc. somebody elses categories come up on my iPage website in place of my categories..
Ie the categories should be:.
Canvas->.
Card / Boards.
Drawing Materials->.
Easels->.
Framing & Cutting Equipment.
Light Boxes.
Mannequins->.
Modelling Materials->.
Paints->.
Paper->.
Portfolios.
Print Racks.
Stools / Chairs.
Technical Drawing Equipment.
But instead you get:.
Audio Gear.
Cameras.
Computer Repairs (1).
Laptops-> (68).
Media (17).
Monitors (10).
Music PC's.
Networking Gear (1).
Onsite Networking.
Software-> (14).
Computer Systems-> (7).
When you follow one of these links you get www.adyscomputers.com.
This is nobody I know, but is clearly an oscommerce site..
What I need help with is how to repair my site.
Please please please can anybody help?.
Thanks in advance.
Nainesh..
This is caused by the cashe control in the admin/configuration/cache set it to false and it will fix the problem....Its because you are on a shared server......
