Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I find an useful answer. You should email the people at Godaddy as they probably could give you an answer..

Does anyone ever have any success backordering godaddy domains through godaddy itself? The bastards keep renewing on me: Either.

A) Godaddy are very good at keeping there customers.

B) everybody has auto-renew switched on..

C) everybody is actually switched on....

Im having no success here with there backordering..

I keep most of my domains with them, and they're great...

Its so strange... some people really hate them and some love them....

Ps. I was thinking of buying a.

Account..

No way to go wrong with that, especiall adwords credit..

I think for reselling, id definately choose the API option. Customization will allow you to seperate your GoDaddy site and services apart from the very well known godaddy interface, and it's only $50 more...

I've never had a problem with them...so yeah I like them..

The Pdq Enom option also looks very nice for reselling.....

GoDaddy is great. They have high prices, but they always have coupon codes to get it down to maybe $5-$6/domain..

Do a simple google search for the codes...

Been great for me and about 100 names. coupon codes always bring the price down to between 4-6.50..

The API option doesn't seems easy (read cheap) to be implemented..

And there is also an initial deposit of $500 (pre-funding)...

Sounds pretty weird that you have to go search coupons b4 regging a domain..

What is good about GD (I have found) is that transferring domains both in and out works smoothly on the GD side of the transaction...

I trust GoDaddy with my names once I reg them, what I dont trust them with is telling me if names are available to reg or not... they always show names as being available when in fact they arnt...

I really like Godaddy nothing but Good from them for me...

I love GD for regging domains ($4.19). I don't like GD hosting as I've had several problems with it, enough to move to another hosting company...

I have never backordered a HostGator from here, but the are my number 1 for everything else.

I have never had a problem and their support, at least for me, has been top notch..

GoDaddy is one of the best.I use them for most of my HostGator names...

Go Daddy has it's share of happy and unhappy customers. They're no different.

From other companies out there on that aspect..

Just try to understand how they work. Read their terms, ask them questions,.

Etc..

If you don't like their terms, go elsewhere, of course...

Trust them, yes.

Like them, no.

I hate the sites layout, it's alittle to complicated, and also takes to dang long to register a HostGator name. I prefer Name Cheap...
