Quick question... What is the best workout/Medifast diet plan for a freshman going into football? Thanks in advance for any response. Another question on my mind: I have no idea if there is a Medifast recipe that resembles this one, but I made this up yesterday while I was having a chocolate attack!.

1 banana.

1 avocado.

2 TBS carob.

1 TBS coconut oil (optional).

First blend (in a blender or FP, but I used a blender) the banana and avo, add alittle water if needed to get it going. Then addthe carob, a TBS at a time and blend (then taste it, and make it to YOUR liking). Then add the coconut oil IF you want to. I like what coconut oil brings to the "firmness" of the pudding. You can eat it this way, or I put it in heaping tablespoons on a dish and froze it! YUMMY. Oh, if it's not sweet enough add alittle honey or other sweetner to your liking!.

Let me know what you think!.

Good question... I dunno what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I discover an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably know..

Tvillemom, thanks. I'm going to try it..

Chocolate is the one thing I'm having difficulty finding a substitute for. The recipes for brownies, cookies, cakes, just don't seem to cut it for me. They resemble chocolate vaguely, but not enough to fool my cravings!.

Anyway, this looks simple and I love simplicity..

Thanks!..

YUM!.

Just tried this. Very quick and easy. I threw in some coconut oil that wasn't too firm, but I wanted the benefit of the oil either way. It made a nice sized bowl of pudding that didn't last very long..

Definitely a "keeper" recipe..

Does anyone know how this keeps? Like if I make it in the morning and take to lunch, will it turn? I only ask because guac turns brown. Of course I wouldn't notice the color in the pudding.

But still am curious...

Tonight I tried (blender):.

1 banana.

1 avo.

1 cup of coconut meat (from a medium aged coconut that had a lot of meat).

2 or 3 tsp carob.

I didnt like it. I think I have come to the verdict that I dont like carob though. I've tried it a few times and it just doesnt agree with me. As a former chocolate addict, maybe my taste buds have been forever perverted.. I dont know lol... oh well....

I'm not sure how this keeps. I also freeze it, so maybe if you froze it overnight, it might "last" longer during the day. Good luck....I'm glad to see everyone (well almost everyone) seems to like it......it was my first attempt at a raw Medifast recipe of my own.

Thanks for your imput!.

Me too! I've solved my craving problem though. For now....

I bought a box of my new favourite dates from Iran and they were not fresh and moist, but hard and dried up little things. I soaked them for a good 6 hours and decided I need chocolate pudding NOW..

I blended up the dates and soak water until smooth and added sifted cocoa powder.

(okay I know it ain't raw, but I had no carob.

, and it's that Green & Blacks Fair Trade cocoa and it's REALLY good) I know it would be good with carob powder too though..

Anyhow, that's it. I'm eating some now and this is it for me..

Dates and cocoa..

I'm not so strict with the 100% raw that a tbsp. of cocoa would prevent me from making this again. Not yet anyhow.

I do really want to try a chocolate pudding with young coconuts, but alas, none of those kicking around either. Next time.....
