I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could help you..
I think some of them mixed with dates or honey and blended would make a great topping for a cashew cheescake. YUM!.
They'd also be great smashed up and put on an almond butter sandwich...
I'd make smoothies..
I know thats not the great creative idea you were looking for, and you were perfectly capable of making smoothies without my help, but I thought I'd tell you anyway..
I love frozen fruit in smoothies. Some water, 2 bananas, red or purple fruit (fresh or frozen berries/currants/cherries/plums/apricots) and blend. Sometimes with coconut oil..
This is one of my favourite foods. I love it more than gourmet cakes etc..
If I had a lot of plum, I might be able to bring myself to use some for something other than smoothies, so I would make plum pie using this recipe:.

I've made it with different kinds of fruit and it's always gorgeous...
I actually just used the ones I cut up and froze last summer. I make apple bread for my husband regularly. This time I just substituted the plums, skin and all. Here's the recipe:.
1 cup ground flax...I only use golden, bu either will work.
2 cups soaked almonds.
1 1/2 cups raisins...I use golden.
3 cups grated apple (substitute the plums, or any other stone fruit will work).
2 tbls cinnamon.
2 cups barley or oat flakes.
1 tsp salt.
1 tsp vanilla.
1/2 cup coconut oil (omit if you don't have)use a processor for all except flax (coffee grinder for that). I roll it between teflex sheets and transfer to mesh. Dehyd to desired dryness..
Right now I have brown rice sprouting. I have a friend who haas celiac disease and can't eat the barley or oat flakes. So, I'm going to try to grind the sprouted rice and sub for the flakes. It will make it a little different consistency, but it should work fine...
Wow! thanks everyone!!.
I will make a point of freezing a ton of them this year when in season, your ideas and recipes sound amazing! I freeze berries and peaches, but I''ve never done plums. I love it in winter to go to the freezer and get a piece of summer, and fresh organic local stuff..
CA dreamer, for you friend with celiac, can celiacs have buckwheat? I'm under the impression it's completely gluten free, is not a grain, is the seed of a deciduos (leafed) plant versus the grain and grass family. I find buckwheat works pretty well in that type of recipe..
My mom has more plums for me and I look forward to trying these recipes and ideas. I have to confess that I actually ate that whole bag just as is that evening and the following morning!!.
Actually looking into getting some plum trees now on our property!..
Dear Exurb,.
I heard that you can make jelly with any fruit and blend it with raisins. May be worth a try in a small batch..
Raw blessings,.
Julie..
