Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at iContact as they probably know..
Thanks for responding, I still dont know how to find that file. If I go to the links of the left side of my admin panel I cant find any path that matches that. Or do I enter it in the address bar or something. Tell me like you would tell your grandma how to do it because I am ready bite into an electric cord over here..
Cody,.
Files are NOT accessible within the Admin panel. NEVER use file manager within the admin panel. Always edit the file with a file editor (I use editplus) and upload the file back to the host..
MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR FILES BEFORE MAKING ANY CHANGES..
Chris..
I have cpanel like you said and I just dont know how to access the files you mention. Can you give me more details on how to use cpanel to find the file. Once I find one file I am sure I can figure it out how to do the rest. Thank you in advance...
Cody,.
Use your cpanel to open your file manager. The file structure is:.
Catalog>includes>languages>english.php.
I can not give you a specific answer because it depends on how your host has your cpanel configured..
Chris..
The answer here is the same as in the other thread you started. If you don't know how to use your iContact website administration control panel to browse directories and open files you will have to ask your host. As Chris says, this is not the osc administration screen, cpanel is the.
Website.
Administration screen provided by your host...
If anyone can help I would appreciate it. I just want to edit simple fields on the front page of my site. I cant figure out the process of editing basic fields like the text for "whats new" I found the faq but I guess I just dont understand..
Cody,.
MOST catalog side text can be found in the following files:.
Catalog>includes>languages>english.php.
Catalog>includes>languages>english>index.php.
And specific page language can be found in the English folder as well.....checkout_success.php, privacy.php, conditions.php etc.
Chris..
