I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at iContact as they probably know..
For one thing your title to this thread is less pleasing. make it something that will best describe your problem..
Second, what is the point of having a iframe if you don't load pages into it?.
<a href="rules.html".
Target="nooj".
>.
That will load the page into the iframe and not reload the "whole" page..
Also the point Aaron was making is that you have two urls you are using.
You have your iContact site loading in this one, correct?.
/bolthead/simnhl/tampabay.html.
But the opages all come from here which is your problem cause you didn't upload them here you uploaded them to the other one..
/bolthead/simnhl/tampabay.html.
For example, this page is not at this site.
And that is where you are calling it from...
Sorry, for the subject line, I was really mad. But thie thing is that the .tk link is the linker. The real iContact site is the.
But anyways..
The thing is that I have several copys of the Index, the page with the iframe, and all of them are named rules...stats.. like that, and I link the bottons on those pages, and inside those pages, there is a code for the iframe, and I replace the index/indexiframe.html by the folder and file of stat, for example stats/statsiframe.html wich does exist (see rules section)..
I know there is a way to just press on stats and only the iFrame changes, not the complete page..
How can I do that???.
Wich tag I have to use and where??..
I already told you in my last post..
And you main problem is you don't have those pages on that server, that is why you get a 404 error. there is no other explanation..
Ohhh, I got it. hehe, thax guys. I hope it'll work like that!!! :-D..
Still doesn't work!!!!!!!!!!!! What the heck, I upload everything at the same time. Same problem. But now I have the target="frame" tag + the changed link to the iframe page, but still does the same thing...
Dude, this page is not there.
It doesn't exist. but the other links look better.
In the code you have this.
<a href="stats/statsiframe.html" target="frame">.
Which means it loads it fomr the iContact site you load in the bottom frame.
But it does ecist!!.
I uploaded it all with Cuteftp pro 7.0.
I tryed another server, same thing...!!.
Than you are doing something wrong. that page is not located on that server either...
How can I do smoething wrong?? I select everything, and dag it on the other section, in cuteftp.... all at the same time?? How can I do something work!!.
It works for some files, and not for other??? thats just.. can anyone check my script, if there is some small mistakes???..
Like I said in the other thread, no code can casue this.
A 404, which means file not found.....
But how can that be??? I would understand if I had only 1 server.. but it does that on both. and I am uploading it normally.
Hmm, I just realized that my flolders, where I have pictures, they have thumbs.db or something like that, dont remember, can that change anything??..
Now thats becoming even more frustrating....
I downloaded Smartftp, another ftp program, to transfer the files and folders.... NOPE!! DOESN"T WORK EITHER!!!.
Okay, i'll post all my iContact site folder here, maybe u'll see what the problem is by looking at it. Hope noone steals it, I trust you guys.....
No, thumbs.db is for windows. it can be if you didn't upload those files. the folder is there but not the file. make sure you named them correctly as case matters...
It has NOTHING to do with the files. it is the ftp you are using...
I tried using 2 different ftps!!!!! dude... something aint normal there!..
You can use 50 for all I care, are you doing it right? if you say you uploaded it then fine, but the iContact site doesn't lie. so something is wrong is right. is the spelling correct? is the case right? is your firewall stopping you? does it actually get uploaded? can you see it go? can you see the file in the ftp on your host site?.
This Statsiframe is way different than statsiframe. you have all lowercase in the files, is that the case on the site? is it all lowercase?..
Hmmm, could you try uploading it urself on your server, just to see if it's my ftp programs or the folder itself??..
Omg, O M G!!! I just found the mistake, and why index and rules worked! MAN AM I STUPID!! cause in the index.html code, all the iframes.html for example statsiframe had lower cases f's. But in reality, only the indexiframe and rules iframe had lowercases in their file name.
So for the stats, I had statsiFrame.html and in the index.html code I had statsiframe.html.
That sucks... sorry for the disturbment. thx for the help dude..
Like I said, that is your problem.
StatsiFrame.html.
Look at the F..
