My first question is Where can I get the Medifast menu for cook-out burgers and shakes? Looking forward for any answer or 2. Another question on my mind: The orientation I went to said you'd be off work for a month. A Month? really? I can't be off that long :( When did you actually go back? Did you have to ease yourself into it?.

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably know..

My doc said 3 or 4 weeks. But I'm definitely going to try and ease back into it. I work with 3 year olds so you can just imagine!..

I was out of work for 5 weeks. I could have gone back a week earlier but I was glad I took the fifth week. The first week was rough!..

I was off work 8 weeks because I have an autoimmine problem so I heal slower. But I know some people who had laproscopic GBS and were back to work in 7-10 days. It would most likely depend on what kind of work you do...

My Dr asked me for 2 weeks. I took 2,5 weeks...

I am at the end of 4 weeks and feel somewhat ready to go back now. It has not been easy getting that time and I had to negotiate hard. My work is very busy and I felt a bit guilty until I realised that finally I am doing this thing for me and I deserve to be healthy (as most of my colleagues are) It is difficult if you don't get sick pay, but I have needed all of my 4 weeks. This is a major life change and time is needed to relearn life without the crutch that previously was food! Be good to yourself :)..

I had my procedure laproscopically and was back to work in 2 weeks. I was tired! I do 10 hour shifts and in hindsight should have started back 8 hour shifts or part time, but I went back full days and took call too. Be kind to yourself!..

I was out for 3 weeks, but felt good enough after 1 week that I probably could have gone back sooner. I'd already arranged 3 weeks though, so I figured I might as well use it all. It's up to your body, really. Some people have no energy for a while after the.

Surgery.

, I had an overload of energy.. it varies per person..

My Dr said 4-6 weeks. I could have easily gone back in week 2. I was ready and excited, but they would not release me for 2.5 weeks. I think it also depends on what.

Surgery.

You are having and your personal pain tolerance. I have a high pain tolerance and have had many surgeries I had my GBS done via laproscope so I did not have the insision. I also had zero pain in my stomach, but did have back issues at night (because I don't like to.

Sleep.

On my back)..
