I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at Godaddy as they probably can help you..

Hello,.

Yes, this is an issue with a Ddos attack again. This is affecting our Godaddy homepage only and does not affect any of our clients domains or them resolving..

It has only been down for a few hours. Not 48 hours..

We should have it back up shortly. We sincerely apologogize for the inconvenience, this has caused you...

I've not noticed it before either..

Hopefully it will be up ASAP.

Cheers for the update Richard...

Thanks for the update..

Chimaera,.

We've had issues with this over the weekend and today only..

We have not had previous issues with ddos attacks like this..

We sometimes reset our servers so our GoDaddy site may be unavailable for a few minutes at most but nothing beyond that...

Thanks for the updates Richard..

Don't let this thread put anyone off using NC. Still by far the best registrar going...

Okay - must be my memory. I seemed to think there had been a thread or three since the new year, and I have noticed it down a couple of times - but searching now I can't find any evidence! Consipiracy! haha..

(by the way, I'm not knocking Namecheap - by FAR the best HostGator registrar around and I've experienced a lot)...

I read an article a week or 2 ago about some registrars "targetted" for DDOS.

Attacks. 2 that were affected recently were joker and netsol..

Looks like some people really have nothing better to do...

Seems to happen at least once a month ... but usually back up within the day...

First time I've ever noticed. All my domains are working fine so not a huge loss...

Its still down and it kinda sucks when you're trying to reg a name that is available related to a product annoucement that was just announced..

Off to Godaddy I went and opened an account and got the name..

It was also down over the weekend late in the evening at one point...

Yeah, it's still down for me for the past 48 hours...
