Question I have... Which are the most popular titbits/candys/chocolates/Medifast cookies in the UK? Looking forward for any answer or 2. Another question on my mind: I'm not really hungry but still picking at salads and the occasional avocado. Should I not eat if I'm not hungry?.

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the right answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an anything. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably know..

I don't feel thirsty either.

I feel "disconnected".

I felt this way yesterday, except that I was thirsty... probably because I live in the desert.

I just didn't really eat. I had a GS in the morning out of habit and then had a small peice of fruit and half an avacado. I had one more thing but I can't think of what it was. Nothing big though. I say just listen to you body... that's the rule right?..

Sometimes I just juice when I feel like that, usually a green lemonade...

Ya dude listen to your body. if I am not hungry, I dont eat. sometimes I dont eat tiil 2 and then that is it for the day. who knows. some days I eat 4 or 5 times. the body knows best...

Then again, eating salads if you're not hungry is unlikely to hurt you.....

Yep. Listen to your body. When you hear a growl..eat..

When it's saying "nah, no thanks" skip it..

This type thing is common with me. Often I seem to eat ravenously every other day and be not hungry at all the next. Other times I don't realize that I am hungry and feel poorly and irritable and when I eat it is all lifted off me...

If your not hungry just treat it as a mini fast. Perhaps a little cayenne pepper, lemon, grade B maple syrup to clean yourself out. I'm about to do this. This is for MysticTree: Why? I've been raw for a while, I've given up SAD food, I need to emotionally and spiritually detox from someone who was a whirlwind in my life. Once I get off the fast (if I start tonite) I will be able to eat raw again instead of SAD which is what I did the last time. It's important to figure out what makes you feel connected.

This is something that alot of people run into (I'm not saying your doing this. I'm saying this is the general public) by drinking or stuffing themselves with pills. You are rewarded when you learn what works for you to feel connected. The way your feeling now is human. We all get like that.

This is your time to heal. I had no idea that I would go off on such a tangent like this but the 'feeling disconnected' is something I had to address and once you master it the feelings will be less and less. I absolutely understand how you feel...

This is an interesting topic. Feeling disconnected, that is a good way to state it. I was feeling that yesterday and still a bit today. This is what I think, when we start eating raw, it's like some barriers get stripped down and if there's something emotionally you haven't dealt with in a true manner, it may be coming up. I liked the suggestion of meditation sit and listen to your thoughts. Don't judge them, just listen to them.

I'm going to take my own advice as well...

Well said DianaH! I think you hit the nail right on the head...

I agree. I have gone through stages like that and it did feel weird. At first I would force myself to eat something because I felt funny not eating. I think that is my old SAD conditioning - you know - eating just for the sake of eating because it's meal time or whatever..

Listen to your body - it will always tell you what it needs...

I would have said this is the biggest load of poo had it not happened to me last week!! My husband and I had a rough patch about 6 months ago. I thought it was over and done with, I mean I never thought about it anymore. WELL, something triggered it and I spent three days in complete emotional agony like it just happened and had to get over it all over again. It was awful..

I now know for a fact that if you're medicating with Medifast food (and possibly some beer, who knows), you're just biding your time until you have to really face that issue. Man it really sucked, but it's all part of the healing process...

If I go several hours without eating, I try to have a cuke or piece of fruit so I don't find myself suddenly STARVING. That would set me up for making poor choices...
