I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can answer it..
Gotta love our Knowledge Base, it had the answer to this problem..
Key fact: my tester is on AOL. Humbug..
I already had fifty reasons to hate AOL, now there are 51 ....

Has a good customer-speak explanation of this. If you want to use the text, you should ask the iPage site owner..

As the iPage site designer for Mondberg, yes you can rip off the text for AOL! Thanks for the compliment Jared..
Vger..
I'm just trying to give credit where credit is due. If you feel it's a compliment, then that means that you did a good job and should be proud of it..

I've installed and run several osC sites, and not encountered this problem before..
The store has been set up (MS2 with a few well known and trusted contributions) and I have tested some orders all the way through payment, and everything seems to work fine for me ... but:.
My first tester (the person who will eventually be handling the admin side to fill orders) reports that she is sent back to the login page every time she clicks a button or link such as checkout, and even when trying to drill down in a category to product pages. This happens as a guest or after login. The login appears to be working okay, she has an account, and the welcome page greets her by name. She has cookies enabled, we believe, using Windows XP..
Session settings are configured: session directory is /tmp (ch mod 777), force cookie use = false, check session id and user agent = false, check IP = true. And configure.php has define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql')..
This is puzzling me greatly and I have never heard of this phenomenon..

Is she using AOL? There are some known AOL issues that sound just like this...
If she is using AOL, go to admin > configuration > sessions and make the IP selection "false"..
